Quiz: Can You Guess The Year Based On The Rampage Results?

How well do you know the history of the biggest freeride event of the year? Sure, you probably know that Semenuk and Sorge are the undisputed kings of the event with three wins apiece, but what if you were to dig a bit deeper? Off the top of your head could you tell me who came tenth in Rampage in 2015? How about fourth? Or even second? When we get down to it, it's generally only the very fastest racers whose results we remember and the years start to blend together as time passes.

It's time to put your Rampage knowledge to the test in this quiz to see how well you remember the event's results. We didn't want to make it too easy, so we've included every year between 2001 and 2019 in the multiple-choice options, even though the event has only run 14 times in its history. Keep count of how many you got right and what years were the trickiest for you to remember in the comments below.

 Pinkbike seriously needs to update this entire website. If that's how they resort to doing quizzes, then this place is drastically out of date. The forum could do with narrowing down too, so there isn't 17000 subcategories

 Forums in general area dying breed. Pb should take a leaf from Newschoolers (a ski forum), where there's basically 2 categories, ski talk and non-ski talk. That means every thread created gets lots of exposure and therefore lots of replies etc.

Let me know when NS starts a fantasy league that gives out tens of thousands of dollars worth of prizes, hires professional industry people and legendary athletes to provide original quality content for the site, sponsors the biggest events of the year, provides a platform for charities to raise money for charities (F*ck Cancer charity raised over $300k one year), holds a raffle giving away prizes once a day throughout the month of December, etc. etc.

Yeah, PB should really emulate NS.... good lord.

 @JamesGTi: Well you're an idiot because aside from the two main NS forums, its completely dead. Its even rare in the two main forums to get as many posts as most things on PB.

 @scott-townes: yeah it's dead as a dodo. But it makes the best of a bad situation by condensing everything into pretty much two categories. Try posting anything on the Pinkbike forum and you're lucky to get a reply cause there's a billion subcategories that nobody can be arsed to check. That's why the Pinkbike forum is also dead, despite the website as a whole probably getting more hits on some days that NS gets in a year combined.

 Doesn't your browser show the url the link goes to when you hover over the potential answers (the years). Pick the one that links to www.pinkbike.com/photo/17489518. Or basically pick the one that links to another url than all other potential answers to that same question.
