The south slope of Capitol Forest hosted the second round of the Race Cascadia Youth Enduro Series, a race series just for the young up and coming Enduro racers of the PNW. 120 riders navigated the lower mountain of Capitol forest on a gorgeous mid-80 degree day where the smoke had cleared out. Trails were dry and fast and kept the kids on their toes. All age ranges from 6 and 7-year-olds up through a 14-17-year-old category. All ages ranges were out there, and as always the main key is to have fun... and if that includes being an 8-year-old and dropping your Rider Support adult... more power to you!

Izzy Tabash in the tight switchbacks of Lower Larch.

It's always a family affair, passing on knowledge and making sure everyone is set up for a successful day.

Koen Greiss keeping it low and fast at the top of stage one. Great way to start the day.

Race Director Trey Wilson imparting his knowledge on everyone during the rider's meeting.

Friend of Capitol Forest handling the food duties.

It doesn't matter how small you are, you can still charge and drop mom.

Carson Gloe had a rough first race. Heal up!

Wait, how fast did I go?!

Crosby Zimmerman sprinting to the finish for second in U11 Boys.

The sights of hanging around the pits in the PNW.

Parker Green Dropping into the Roots of Fury.

Noaka Bean in one of the beautiful berms of stage 1.

Throwing some style in the middle of a race stage is always a good thing.

Grom Squad charging hard.

Dominic Wilson popping and playing through the woods.

Future podium contenders.

The finals will be in Hood River in October. For full results go here.
