Race Face Releases 2018 Softgoods - Video

350 KM north of Race Face HQ in Vancouver, the town of Bralorne sits at the foothills of the Chilcotins. A facet of BC’s history, accessible via unpaved gravel under expansive skies, all but abandoned. From remote Chilcotin woodland to bustling town, the gold mine expanded the town with homes, lodges, schools and bars; wealth in the mountains. And just as hundreds of people rushed to create a bustling community in the hills, the markets shifted, and the town shrank away. But the mountains remain.

Lately, interest has been renewed in the area, with some of the best back-country access and terrain in the province. In May 2017 Race Face set out to explore Bralorne’s back-country and potential for mountain biking while shooting our 2018 Soft Goods Catalog.

The backcountry was good to us. Noah seeks the road less traveled in our all new lightweight, waterproof and seam sealed Conspiracy Jacket.

The new Ambush 3/4 Sleeve jersey with a sublimated RF camo print is ready to take on the gnarliest lines you can find!

The Khyber kit continues to be our hardest wearing women’s gravity specific kit, with durable technical materials and designed-to-match bottoms, tops and gloves.

Ace and Noah dropping in with the gravity and park focused Ruxton kit. Mobility focused fabric mapping in the shorts and pants provide the durability riders have come to expect from a DH rated kit. Fully sublimated, Ruxton jersey has a relaxed fit with a moto style collar for those park lap vibes.

The relaxed but technical functionality of the Stage kit on full display in the Bralorne dust.

Light bro. Try not to be too distracted with the new Indy Short design in 4 way stretch fabric. And abrasion resistant, not that you ever touch the ground.

Indy and Ambush collections get their own matching gloves, both sporting a new ultra lightweight stretch mesh back with sublimated graphics and a thin single piece Amara palm.

Redesigned for 2018, our highly packable Nano Jacket is now available in a women’s cut.

Our Charlie Tech T and shorts are ready to deliver you to adventure with simple lines and tech features galore to keep you happy and comfy on all day pedals!

With updated fabrics, Stash base layers fit cleanly under your kit for all your on-bike needs.

Above the trees, the new Inversion printed Trigger jersey is our lightweight and breathable short sleeve for dusty highlines.

Redesigned, the Loam ranger is back in action and joins our all-new Bonx Jacket in our street collection.

And what’s a trip without a tailgate pad? The hugely popular design now comes in all-over print inFERNO to bring you closer to the loam. Check the full 2018 Soft Goods Collection at raceface.com online and look for it to hit shelves early April! A huge thanks to the fine folks of Bralorne Adventure Lodge and the RF riders, designers and photo team!

If only a German company could step in and offer something to increase cockpit stiffness in these new shorts.

I wish a stylish company would come in and design some cool clothes so we all don’t look like rodeo clowns

 @sevensixtwo: its coming......

@sevensixtwo: I wish a cool company would design some shorts for us 6'1 and taller. something slightly over the knee length again would be rad. Everything I try on these days are stupid 3 way stretch that are paper thin and barely cover my balls.

@pushingbroom: try specialized...their atlas shorts are thin but over the knees and super stretchy. And im 6'6"

No ride is complete without posing in front of a wood hut/abandoned shack. This is mountain biking.

You got it bro. Although, in my case it is like an abandoned adobe thing. Or a rusty old plow. Not quite the street cred of an old wooden shack, but you gotta work with what you got.

Anyone else have the D3O in their Indy elbows or knees break apart inside the pocket without crashing? I noticed one of the petal-type pieces floating around loose the other day. Been meaning to inquire but this post reminded me.

Yeh it's super commen. Gf took hers in after same thing happened and the shop said loads of them were being returned/warrantied.
  • + 3
@DHDH If you D30 piece has an issue that is something that would be covered under warranty. Contact your dealer and they can set up a warranty claim with us.

Yeah my elbow pad split apart right at the point of my elbow.

Sweet vid. Did anyone repair the trashed trail from those sweet epicradness photo shots of shralpskids to make the dust fly?

What an impossibly difficult website to navigate. Searched everywhere for a tailgate pad, no luck..
  • + 3
@cdmbmw The RF tailgate pads: www.raceface.com/products/category/bike-protection Sorry you had trouble navigating rf.com.

@raceface: If you select Men's Jerseys and filter by any of the disciplines all of the products vanish too - nothing attached to any discipline in the system I think.
