Another incredible weekend for racing, unbelievable conditions in Big Wood area, in Northern Ireland, for the second stop of the Vitus First Track Cup. Close to 300 riders are registered for the race and have a hell of a craic riding on mint conditions. The race will be 20km with a 575m climb and the same amount of descending, nothing really big, perfect to enjoy and have fun. With six short but physical stages, skills will be thoroughly tested. Sun is shining but inside the forest, on the natural carved trails, there are tons of wet roots waiting for the riders. Some puddles and mud here and there, slippery rocks and tricky sections ready for the challenge.
With some of the top guns, Leah Maunsell, Greg Callaghan, Kelan Grant in Madeira for the third race of the Enduro World Series, the podium is open and the battle will be even more fierce. James Flemming, J Mac, Ben Irwin, Tommy Magnenat, Peter Davison, Connor Campbell and some other seeded riders will fight until the last meter to get to that podium. Sunny weather for tomorrow, so expect to have even better conditions than today. Coffee, burgers and more will be waiting for the riders on the paddock at the end of the race, to replenish the tank while the podium ceremony is held. Some good hacks to keep the mud away from the suspension, Hannah is looking for another podium
