The Specialized Revolution Enduro Series presented by Rock Shox kicked off the season in Eagle, CO for a full day of classic backcountry enduro racing. The race was a big 22-mile mountain bike ride with friends that had them doing 2,700 feet of climbing for nearly 6,000 feet of descending over 4 stages.

The day started with an early morning shuttle from down in Eagle up to roughly 10,000 feet. Racers had a solid pedaling transfer from the shuttle drop-off to the start of stage 1 on the Sawmill trail at nearly 11,000 feet where they would drop into an eye-watering fast bit of wide-open singletrack that ultimately finished with a slick janky rock garden through dark woods to keep everyone on their toes.

At the bottom of stage one, EVO Denver was on the scene to aid with mechanicals, and a racer aid station was fueled by Scratch Labs.

Up next was another good pedaling transfer to stage 2 that featured more high-speed track that was lined with hundreds of freshly cleared trees that were blown down over the winter.

@railbender I found the Trailforks map for the 2022 Eagle, CO round on the Revolution Enduro website: www.trailforks.com/route/revolution-enduro-eagle-co-june-26th-2022

Can PB please provide the link to the race course route on Trailforks? I think that would be awesome if PB did that for races in general. Local riders that don't race can go and do the routes on their own and perhaps even compare times on the stages.

@Sycip69er: Naw...Strava is not good for finding the trails themselves. I'm just interested in riding the course for the most part.

@railbender: why isn't strava good for finding the trails themselves? stravadirections.app/?routeId=2962752044393047638

This course has it all: open descents, rocky chunk in the trees and some steep pitchy climbs. The transfer to the start is a haul!

That was the best event video I think I've ever seen!
