Mount Snow has a rich history in mountain bike racing - over the years Mount Snow has hosted NORBA races, National Championships and a World Cup. The track for this Vittoria ESC New England Series race featured the lower portion from one of those classic events. Starting out at Ego Alley the course went down multiple granite strewn ski trails and passed though the infamous Yardsale. The last section was all about speed and rocketing through the Fly Racing Speed Zone located just before the finish this weekend.

Racers welcome the variety of terrain the Vittoria ESC offers, this weekend featured a high speed, open race course. "It was a proper high speed track, and really pushes the capabilities of your bike. Your suspension is working top to bottom, it's like a motocross track, physical from the gate to the finish." Said Jordan Newth, who races for Specialized and 100%.

The Fog was thick for morning practice and it stuck around all day, not clearing up until racers got to the lower half of the track. At times the fog got so thick that visibility was limited to 25 feet. It made a cool dramatic effect and made for some nice shots though.

Jobson Chrisostomo of Defiant Racing is always smiling, even when he's washing the mud off after a sloppy race. Jobson makes great Brazilian BBQ so if you're ever at an ESC race be sure to stop by his pit for a sample - he is always eager to share and his food is sure to please.

First your bike, then yourself. 3rd place Defiant Racing Pro finisher Frederico Vieira turns the attention to himself after cleaning off his Intense M16C.

Ben has been on great form this year, showing he has what it takes to be a fierce competitor when he moves up to the Pro class. His training and dedication to racing has certainly paid off, and has not gone unnoticed.

This is her first year in the Pro class and Simone has decided to make it to as many events as possible. The first place finisher for the Female Pro category is certainly no stranger to the podium. Lauren Daney is racing for Patrol 110% racing, Troy Lee Designs, and Deity. Despite a crash in yard sale, Lauren was able to hold on to finish ahead of her competition.
With her experience, a Pro GRT win, and some World Cup races under her belt, she makes for some very tough competitor.

Defiant Racing pro Frederico Vieira riding for Move TI and Gui Nutricionista is the 3rd pro finisher this weekend. Since moving to the US from Brazil, Frederico has quickly been making a name for himself as a top contender in the Pro racing circuit. Despite a few issues in his run he was able to finish with a solid 3rd place.

In his first year as a Pro DH racer, Jordan Daigle has had a very impressive season thus far. Already landing himself on the podium at Plattekill just a few weeks back, he finds himself in 2nd place after this weekend's race, his best Pro finish to date. Jordan races for Flatline Racing, Intense bikes, Fly racing, and Spank.

Isaac Allaire from Morrisville, VT has been a mainstay on the podium and it was only a matter of time before he took home the win. Blazing through the finish line 12 seconds up on his nearest competitor, he was the only racer of the day to finish in under 3 minutes, at 2:53.2! Isaac races for Transition bikes, Troy Lee Designs, Spank, Onza, HT, MRP, Fox and Chucks Bikes.

"Mount Snow put on a great track this year, it was really fast off the top with wide open ski hill sections that were really fun, especially when it started pouring rain all day Saturday into Sunday morning. The speed of the track suited me pretty well, as long as you could keep the wheels rolling fast! Managed to stay rubber side down during my race run and take home a win by a pretty decent margin. ESC has been killing it this with the venues!" - Isaac Allaire.
