The strange thing is when Matthew Sterling came through, the clock showed a 3:36, not sure what happened that the official result was 5 seconds slower. He was on his trail bike because his DH broke.

Matthew, Jeremy Pascal, and Nate Thamalmer (sp) are all riding way above their ages. I wouldn’t be suprised to see any of them on the national or world cup circuit at some point.

Yeah, and Evan is racing Enduro on that trail later this year at the CES race, so the more training he gets on his trail bike the better.

I stopped going to Northstar, no longer a DH park! It use to be when it was raw, but now all the trails are pretty much flow trails! Overpriced, boring!

Which trails are you talking about my dude!?

Silly Rabbit, Trails are for kids! NorthStar is one of the gnarliest most raw bike parks you will ever ride. You ever want to roll through and see what RAW DH trails are we would LOVE to give you a tour.

you clearly have just riden livewire, coster, and gypsy.

Is it really a DH race if the two fastest riders are on trail bikes?

Have you ever ridden Boondocks? It's a loose & rough trail....those pros likely would kill it on any bike.

Most riders would prefer a Dh. It just so happens that a DH bike is harder to handle on such a tight course for most people. The rest of the pro field was on dh rigs. Matt and Evan would place just the same on any bike. Speaks world to their skills.
