This past September long weekend marked the 11th annual Slamfest event held at Mt. Sima in Whitehorse, Yukon. The weekend brought some great temperatures, sunny skies, and some stoke levels on high. A big thank you to all our volunteers for coming out and making sure the event went smoothly all weekend. Another big thanks goes out to our sponsors; AirNorth, Chieftain Energy, Icycle Sports, 7Mesh, Arctic Star Printing, PhysioPlus, Cadence Cycle, Klondike Kettle Korn, Cyclelogical, G-P Distributing, Star Flower Photography, and of course Mt. Sima for hosting this event. This event could not have happened without the big support of the community.

Saturday brought a 3 stage Enduro Race where riders made their way to the top of Mt. Sima on the Chairlift and riding between transfer stages. Peter Wojnar & Zanny Vener both from Squamish, BC took the win in the Pro Enduro categories. The Party continue on Sunday with the Downhill Race. Massey Baker taking the win by 1:25 seconds this year despite taking a crash near the end of his race run.

Always loved going to our Canadian sister city, Friendly people always on the go and willing to invite for some epic outdoor fun. A town that has it all, year round activities, good vibe and even better people.
