Race Report: Trans Atlantis 2021 - Day 4

Sep 12, 2021
by TransAtlantis

Day 4 was not an easy one. Halfway through the event has passed and riders had started to feel some fatigue. This was the day of the big traverse where riders had to cross the island from one point to another through the deep and wild Azorean jungle. But before that, they would face two of the best stages of the event - on a place that local legends call Jurassic. The day would finish again at ocean level, in Faial da Terral who hosted before the Azores Enduro Fest back in 2018. Let's jump into the action...

First and Second stages were located in the same cedar forest. Both trails had the same starting point but right after the first section, each one followed its own way.

Stage Two, called Jurassic was for sure one of the best trails so far. Was a long stage with some variety of muddy dirt into the deep Azorean jungle.
