The 2nd race of the Azores XCO CUP in Sete Cidades

The second race of the 2019 Azores XCO CUP, took place in Sete Cidades Azores Portugal.

The track began with a steep small climb that leads the riders to a mellow descent, ending on a technical roots section, but due to the rainy and humid week, the track was a mix of huge puddles, mud and dry rocky sections. This conditions made the riders struggle with what to wear and what tyres and pressure to use.

The race was marked by the fight for the first place between the two fastest members of the Elite class, João Medeiros and Milton Resendes. If you want to know who ends up winning the first place, you might have to enjoy the whole report!
