Do not go Gentle into that good nightWith darkness falling so soon and cold weather closing in, the fall signifies the end of the riding season for most. For those of us who work, we can no longer ride late into evenings, left to only ride on days off, this isn't enough. Fall brings more moisture in the air and the trails are always nice and tacky, there is less traffic, we’re in peak riding shape, it’s just the cold dark that holds us back…
There’s only so long we can stay stagnant, stay afraid to plunge headlong into the abyss. Embracing our fear of the unknown, we can no longer surrender to the black dark night. Charging, fearless, we ride. Moon lit and star stuck I recite the infamous words of Dylan Thomas as my tires tear through the fallen leaves.

I know i know before anyone says its not really "3400" lumens, I get it, but its still bright as shit.
Are they as good as expensive lights? No.
Are they 1/10th of the price? Yes!
Are they superb for the minimal outlay and highly recommended for people wanting to try night riding? Yes!
EBay has loads too, and shipping tends to be shorter as lights are in the same country, although you will pay a small premium over those direct from China...
I wouldn't be too seduced by the power output thought, as it'll drain your battery quicker, and always have 2 (helmet and bars) in case one fails or runs out of battery, etc.
They tend to have a very pronounced spot in my experience, and the batteries drain much quicker. That is where the money goes on better lights, and it depends on the individual as to whether it's better for them and affordable enough to be a worthwhile investment...

Cree LED bulbs get a maximum 100 lumens per watt. The most powerful Cree LED is 10 watts. 3 :10 watt bulbs gives you 3000 lumens. Here is the catch: if you run the bulbs at full power the LED,s burn out earlier.
genuine 1200 lumens, solid build good finishing and tidy wiring internally.
great video
