For the past two weekends, I’ve helped the Grassroots Cycles crew move dirt at the Ranch. This year’s slalom and slopestyle courses are legit, and will be a ton of fun.

The slalom is one of a kind, mixing natural terrain, berms, and jumps like never before. It’s totally doable on a hardtail, just bring some dirt tires! CJ Timing will be at the event making sure times are accurate to the hundredth. A start gate is also being built.

The slopestyle course has grown a lot since last year. The lips are now bigger and lippier, and the landings have grown a few feet. There is also a new wallride (well, wall tap - you’ll see), and a few new lips here and there. Word on the street is that Mike “The Voice” Kreger will be announcing, so be prepared to get heckled.

The crew has been busting their butts for weeks (months?) now in preparation for this event. You don’t want to miss this.

P.S. - Register ASAP as the available spots are filling up faster than you might think. The ‘registered riders’ link hasn’t been updated for awhile.
