October 27 will mark the 12th edition of Red Bull Rampage where 21 of the worlds greatest freeride mountain bikers will descend upon Virgin, Utah’s other-worldly terrain. Brandon Semenuk, Kurt Sorge, and Kyle Strait have been invited back as part of the pre-qualified roster, having all taken home the gold twice in years past, setting them up for the potential hat trick this year. To make things even more interesting, a new ridgeline will be added to the venue, which sits rider’s right of the existing terrain from last year’s event.

Building upon the new and improved format from last year the elite group of 21 riders create their own personal man-made line down the mountain without the use of power tools—no two riders' path down the near-vertical sandstone will be the same. Riders, along with a two-person build crew, are welcomed to the event site for three days of strictly building and four additional days with their bikes in advance to carve out their journey in one of the biggest tests of skill and nerve in the world.

Ticketing Information

Spectator tickets will be available from 11am, August 23, 2017.

@naugs: was it before the phones had no internet connection? Yea bro, you couldn't post your meal on instagram directly- yea, and those phones, had no keyboard and no screen, some fricking round plate with number, no battery either - brah! So you mean that you couldn't take the phone with you to take pics from behind bars? - yea brah. Instagram probably didn't exist back then. Google it - duuude, so back then you could google just for numbers if phones had no keyboard and no screens? - yea, like, 2012 and a lady rang you and told you about the end of the world - duuuuuude - braaaah - sooo trippy!

For once being in the UK pays off. When this is live its Friday evening over here so each year I have a Rampage Party. Even my non MTB mates enjoy coming round to watch it. After many beers and this finishes we continue with more MTB films into the night. Hands down best drinking night of the year. For me anyway. I must be getting old cause pubs and clubs seem to be full of people I can't wait to get away from.

It is Bureau of Land Management land. You don't need a ticket to access this it's the desert just show up and tell whoever asked you for the ticket to politely f*** off. Do you think they will fence off the whole desert?
