As the Pinkbike team makes the trek to Utah to, once again, bring you the goods from Red Bull Rampage we wanted to take a look back at some of the big moments and our favourite photos from last year's event. Photographers Sterling Lorence, Margus Riga, Paris Gore, Colin Meagher, and John Wellburn captured everything from McGarry's big stack to Aggy's brilliant qualifier run, and from Tom Van Steenbergen's canyon front flip to the style that got Andreu the win in 2014 and we can't wait to see what comes out of these top athletes again this year.

Szymon Godziek... the level has definitely turned up since the last Rampage casually backflipping the canyon gap was the norm.

Another angle on Gully s Step On Step Off drop. The image I uploaded on Friday did little to convey how steep this line actually is.
I tried my best to show the true Gnar of the entrance to Kyle and Cam s line..It was a cliff face not a drop a jagged cliff face. Kyle is charging it here..

Aggy guinea pigging his upper drop for the first time during qualifiers and came up a bit short after not coming in with enough speed. Came out alright from it and will hopefully have another shot tomorrow morning at it.

Holy shit mountain bikers are going as big as skiers only there s no soft snow to land on. Aggy the man.

Aggy guinea s the biggest drop at Rampage. He over shot the landing by a good 15ft but somehow managed to hold it together. After the crew measured the distance and it came in at 76ft. That s Icon Sender territory.

Just hope that Kelly McGarry has a good wheel sponsor now and does not snap them...ha
  • 9 0
To be fair i feel like not too many wheels would hold up to the kinda shit he dishes out on them. Atomlab are pretty bombproof in my experience

That front flip attempt from tom is still one of the craziest things i've seen..

So he's gonna do it this year with no mistakes. I was confused, wen i saw it: he did fronts off of bunch of small wooden diy-mini-kickers, but didn't do it all the way on huge sized gap. Scared of over-rotating this trick or what?

 i almost barfed.

alone in the air dude, he's frikin orbiting earth in the second shot. jeez. a man, all alone, in the cold blue abyss, below him a strange land fast approaching and spinning. what a legend

these shots are amazing. Forgot how dope sterling and paris are at capturing this sport.
  • 4 3
Sorry but as much as I appreiciate Sterling and Paris's photos, Margus Riga's Black n White shot is definitely the best.

Hope Aggy will get into history of rampage as a 2015 winner. So stoked about Zink's crazy ideas, and, as a guy from Poland and all time Godziek fan- just would like to see him at the podium. Guy is known from out of the box thinking, so maybe he's gonna put some banger in this year's run (not to mention flipping the canyon first last year as a first of all competitors).
  • 1 0
Still thinkin' "WTF kind of crazy trick in crazy place is Zink thinking to do this year". Guy's just... you know, he's Zink.
  • 1 0
Looking forward to watching Godziek and every one else throw down this year. Going to be a good one!

Godziek to Tsunami the Canyon Gap.
