Reaper Madness

The DVO Suspension Reaper Madness will act as the finals for the Bootleg Canyon Winter Gravity Series. Race disciplines will consist of Super D and Dual Slalom on Saturday, Downhill & Open Chain-Less DH on Sunday.

Dual Slalom will see a water truck each day starting on Thursday with a committed team from local bike shop and home of Bootleg Canyon, All Mountain Cyclery. All Mountain Cyclery will make sure that the gravity world will see this track and say, WOW! The Super D Course will use a combination of trails that will put a smile on any mountain bikers face. The Downhill track may also be the most popular trail at Bootleg Canyon due to it's flow, super high speeds and length.

Downhill Mountain Bike Racing

DVO Suspension's had so much fun at the DVO Mob n Mojave, there was no hesitation for DVO to jump on-board as the Title Sponsor for the 2015 Reaper Madness. The $1,500.00 Pro Cash Purse is provided by DVO Suspension, the high end suspension company that is For Riders By Riders.

Reaper Madness

The 2014 podium.

The finals also produce an action-packed awards ceremony with individuals being awarded medals and prizes within their age bracket and categories, series leaders will also be receiving their "Overall" medals for the series. The pros will be awarded both medals as well as cash for this event. Regarding the Team Challenge, currently, Utah's Laketown Bicycles is in 1st place, but team Bear Valley Bikes is in a close second. If team Bear Valley Bikes scores four first places, that leaves zero room for error for Laketown and a possible tie for 1st. Please visit the event website to see how tie breakers will be handled. It's going to be very exciting!
