Are you ready to truly upgrade your riding? You’ve spent time and energy scouring these forums to learn and probably spent a lot of money on better tires, better suspension, lighter wheels, smoother hubs with more engagement, etc. Now it’s time to invest in you!

Our BetterRide campers include 85-year-old ripper, Fred Schmidt and many Top Enduro/Downhill racers and Cross Country racers including Cody Kelly, Shawn Neer, Sue Haywood, and Mitch Ropelato.
However, most students are simply passionate riders wanting to gain confidence and have more fun.

You can become a much more skilled and confident rider! You may feel that certain trails are reserved for World-Class riders with more nerve or “natural talent” than you. This simply isn't true. What those World-Class riders have is more confidence in their skill set than you. You will learn the same skills Cody Kelly, Mitch Ropelato and Kialani Hines learned in their camps with me. You will also learn the drills you will use after the camp to master these skills.

About Gene Hamilton:
Gene’s passion is coaching, and he wants to help you. Before starting BetterRide in 1999 he had ten years of experience coaching snowboarding, giving him over 30 years of coaching experience.
Over those years, Gene has mastered his coaching technique by keeping a beginner's mind and constantly improving both his coaching and his curriculum. His critical eye can quickly spot what you are doing right and wrong and he knows how to get you to master the correct techniques. Gene is a pretty good rider too, he has earned a silver (2002) and two bronze medals (1999, 2006) at the UCI World Masters Championships. In 2019 he became the US National Champion.
