@Kenfire24: not so sure... I got a ride down the mountain in the patrol buggy (broke hand) and still didn't beat KOMs on the trails next to fire road the buggy was on...
Having ridden most of these trails and been super stoked just to consistently make tranny, this stuff is so impressive to watch. That pre-jump over the rock drop on a-line... dang.
@eswebster don't joke about that dude. I broker my neck and my back (in 3 places). Had one of my vertebrae pinned up. I'll be back on the bike, but others won't...
In the era of hundreds of bike vids, I generally get quickly bored while watching someone throwing whips on machine dug trails... but 1:32 made it all worth it... Jizzus Christ!
Remy stated in the past that he has a very hard problem with arm pump and carpal tunnel, unable to ride at race pace for more than a minute and a half. This is a terrible issue and even with surgery, it can not get away on 100%. He probably still has that problem, which might be the reason he does not participate into any races.
Having been to Whistler 2 years ago, it's just mind blowing how absolutely normal the left kicker on the jump at 1:37-1:42 looks on video. It's pretty huge in person, you hit it blind and are going Mach Chicken
Pull it back before you land. Besides, you'll lose your momentum if you don't.
People do taco rims from landing severely sideways, but a well built wheel can handle the lateral forces from not quite getting it all the way back. Generally, if you rode it out, you weren't actually landing as far sideways as it felt.
Somebody PAY this DUDE more money. His sponsors should be Whistler (100k), Bike company ($100k), and anybody else that want their product on the best park biker to ever ride!
Seems to have been ages since the last edit of him ripping whistler up!! Worth the wait for sure!
Still think that bike is FUGLY but good to see him shred it!!!
I'd love to see him give racing on the pro level a go. He just seems so ridiculously fast, but maybe that reckless style might be what does him in? Who knows????
@CF519: i checked a little deeper. he had the pace to qualify but crashed. he also went to Windham that year, but he isn't on the result sheet as well there. dunno if he even raced
I bet them world cup guys also wish they could ride park like him. I bet every one that rides a bike wish they could ride park like him. even Semenuk Macaskill and Minnaar.

Is the secret is : Always try to land front wheel first ?
...
Rémy always amaze me.
Ah, makes sense. I didn't know he'd ever given it a go.
