red bull rick most aluminium sprokets wear out very quicly if you can get the ones that are mostly aluminum with th esteel teeth they are durable and lite

That stem is sick but they should put more effort into releasing better paired products. I definately wouldn't run a stem that lightweight and then slap some heavy ass renthal bars on it that wouldn't make sense unless I was a Renthal whore.

renthal is hands down better than pro taper iv ran both and and have had better luck with there fat bars and twinwalls over pro tapers evo bar which is nice but bent pretty easily. their aluminum sprockets on the other hand are garbage, if your running them on a 450 you should be slapped unless your sponsored and get new chains and sprockets every race.

back in the mid to early 90's Rental made mountain bike bars and a few rings and some other parts then bailed on mtb parts.

I have never been impressed with their moto offerings, the grips are good, but not the kevlar ones ,( I think they wear out faster than the standard grey ones!

their moto sprockets wear out fast, and their bars bend way more easily than a protaper.

I hope their bike parts are better this time around...

i have the MTB chainring, and it is amazing, super stiff and strong, and really light weight. looks good too, when it wears out im definately going to get another one.

Those kevlar grips sound sick. I might have to try some.

Worst grips I have tried and I've tried them all. Wore out super fast, surprisingly.

Are they softer than the normal soft grips? That's really all I care about. I'm just looing for a super soft grip for my trials bike.
  • 1 0
No I didn't find them any softer, but they wore out very quickly and were more expensive. I like the Tag Metals rebound grips, ProTaper Pillow Tops, and the Sunlines with the diamond pattern. Right now I'm trying a set of Sunline full waffle in soft.

 That Rental stem is sexy.
Any plans for one that mounts onto Boxxer integrated stem mount?

I agree, the stem/ bar combo are tight.

That stem looks like it would eat knees!

I wouldn't take a curb with there Renthal Duo Stem it looks like it would snap just mounting the bars.

I run a BMX stem pad sideways across my stem - for me (who has had a few knee injuries from hitting the stem) the stem pad is as essential as a helmet. And I mainly ride XC.
