Pichidangui was one of those races that will be remembered for many years. The rain and the wind never stopped for the 400 riders who came to race.
The race had five stages but because the weather was so bad early on in the day, the inspection team and organisers agreed to shorted the race to four stages. The weather continued to deteriorate and for safety reasons, the organisers decided to cancel Stage 2.
We had a podium never seen before; three downhillers took the 1-2-3 spots. Mauricio Acuña (Mondraker Dune XR) won his first ever Montenbaik Enduro, after many attempts he was able to keep things steady throughout the day, allowing him to take the win of the 4th round of the Montenbaik Enduro with a time of 15: 18.4.

Master A class was a very good race, with Antonio Leiva in 1st position followed by Diego Puelma (Trek Slash), 3rd was Jan Guzman (Ibis HD3). In 4th place arrived Ignacio Rojo (Marin Attack Trail) who did a tremendous race but a one penalty relegated him to fourth.
