35 plus minutes of a race run and all I saw was the same section that was shown on the DH course. Not a very good representation on what ENDURO racing is
agreed, didnt enjoy watching it as much as the DH even but it was free so can't complain too much. I think it is hard to follow everything in the same way because riders are just all over the place rather than doing the run, one at a time.
I'm not sure you understand how logistically hard it is to livestream things - especially a race which requires a shuttle from redwoods (on the other side of Rotorua) AND 7 whole stages through completely separate parts of the bike park.
It is not free guys. We are paying top dollar for frames and bike parts manufactured jn south east Asia. Bike parts are marked up at least 200%. I know we all love bikes but we are living the peak of MTB life cycle, things are marked as much as possible.
@Narro2 I'm not sure that you understand the nature of product manufacture and distribution. The factory, manufacturer, in-country distributor and retailer all have to make money to survive, it's called 'business'. As well as paying for product development, sales and marketing, and the people that do those jobs. Yes, a product may cost £10 to actually manufacture, and retail at £100 but there are a lot of mouths to feed along the way. It's the same for any industry, not just bikes. You can reduce the costs slightly by selling direct, but there are still costs. If you put all your efforts into developing a new product, would you sell it for no profit and not tell anyone about it...?? Do you think the adverts on Pinkbike get there for free...?
Efectivamente Narro, de gratis nada; eso lo pagamos nosotros con lo que compramos, pagamos más de lo que les cuesta a las empresas su fabricación. Estos gringos están en la luna...
His background is dh. Ha.Seriously I've known him a very long time and you folks would be amazed but he pretty much started training real hard way back in 2004. Anyway by mid 2006 he had developed a serious road cycling problem and he has been battling with it ever since. He has good weeks but sometimes in the off season he relapses and puts in 500 kms. Road cycling - it kills more people than it saves!
I am terribly sorry for insulting something so close to your heart. I honestly apologize for hurting your feelings. I am slowly becoming Swedish. Next step> stop at first MCDonald after driving into Germany and saying Heil H... Ein BigMac bitte
