10 minute enduros... that's so Sea Otter.

The only racing at Sea Otter that really matters is the XC because of the UCI points up for grabs. Terrain isn't suitable for DH/Enduro. Slalom in cool for the spectacle.

@ryansimonovich: Im not interested in it. But Im pretty sure a bit of people enjoy the CX

@chillrider199: funny you bring that up... 3rd place rider in the women’s enduro is primarily a CX racer (and current Canadian national champion).

@ryansimonovich: the only racing that “slughtly” matters at C8 is the dual slalom. Anything else is a joke.

@chillrider199: True. Pretty popular with the CX folks who are in their "off season" right now.

@RedRedRe: I meant that the XC matters because of the UCI points. (It's classified as a HC level event). So that's beneficial for the folks headed over for the World Cups. Slalom has the prestige and media attention, fore sure.

How is Rachel Strait sponsored. On he best day she's mid pack.

Completely agree. She's not even a "lifesyle" athlete.
  • 1 0
Could be because her Instagram following is pretty big; bigger than lots of the other Pro Women racers on that list. She's got 20k more than Anneke Beerten and 70k more than Brittany Phelan.
