Interesting to see how advertising has changed. In years past this Event was marketed up all over PB in the build up. Banners on the front page. Now its just showed up out of nowwhere. There's an E bike on the banner instead...

The whole Crankworx franchise has lost its edge. The downhill courses aren't up to WC level, some events (Speed & style, looking at you) are meh, and things are just becoming repetitive.

You can build up the hype for one stop of the CW tour, but after 4x the same thing, it's getting old.

I do feel they have upped their game on the slopestyle courses. More variety for sure. As far as the rest of the event however ..

@nots1: I personally think Speed and Style is one of the most entertaining events! I wish the judging/time bonuses were a little more clear, but I think the overall strategy (big tricks vs. high speed), short course, and head-to-head format is fun to watch!

@Jordanh604: Yes, thinking about it, I have to agree on the slopestyle part. This is maybe the most "hype-able" aspect of it.

@nots1: Speed and style is the best its ever been. The DH courses are sick, its just really hard setting one up to be properly broadcasted. I don't mind more MTB events.
