Soo much time, Soo many sore buttholes.
  • + 1
So sick. Been in the woods racing all day with no service and just checked into PB! NORCAL STAND THE F UP! I might even try to see some replay

Amazing ride by all! USA! Congratulations to Kate Courtney, World Champion!

 Alison Dunlap in 2001

 @handynzl: Wrong reply? Smile .
  • + 4
Err....sorry,that reply was meant for @aaronjb

But yay for Kate!

Glad to see Nino win it at a place less than an half hour from where he was born. One of the greats, truly.
  • + 13
That female race was awesome. Strange how after predictable nino wins the race we get to see tons of coverage of him holding his bike, holding his baby and cheering with the crowd. When a huge underdog Kate wins we see her hug her mom and that’s it.
  • + 3
Not to mention hearing about Neff for the whole 2 hours.
  • + 5
@pwhite2021: to be fair they are both the hometown heroes, so you'd expect more coverage
  • + 13
kate courtneys last 2 laps were amazing. so controlled under massive stress on the tech sections & emptied the tank on the climbs
  • + 12
she really went in like a wrecking ball congrats to Kate Courtney! from singer to world champion!
  • + 12
Way to go, Emily!! Congrats on a great season!
  • + 12
 SPARKLE WATTS!
  • + 8
Nino is an absolute legend. Congratulations!
  • + 4
Pics not showing up for me here. Again. On Android mobile. Sribbed? working fine on other sites for me using this phone.

Something going on with RB as well as I could never make it through more than 20min of the race before the feed quit. Hopefully they make the replay available in the next few days.

AWESOME work Emily! An excellent performance from Haley Smith too finishing in 6th! Maximum effort from Catherine Pendrel finishing 14th after a flat, and putting a third Canadian female into the top 15 in the world! Congratulations ladies on such successful seasons and thank you for doing Canada proud! Smile

KATEEEEEEEEE!! ♥ Tacos power! Thanks for an amazing race! Perfect saturday!
  • + 8
 Frick yeah Christopher!!
  • + 7
Amazing womens race. Congrats to Kate Courtney.
  • + 7
Was Rob wearing a white dress?
  • + 1
I feel like I have missed out on Robs fashion choice.... NZ doesn't get red bull coverage for worlds... Some boring commentator all on his own, repeating himself over and over... And about as much excitement in his voice as a damp squid.
  • + 1
 WTF is that shirt!?!?!
  • + 1
@handynzl: I watched the women's race on Redbull last night without issue. Last year it was certainly not available here in NZ.

Try the UCI YouTube page to. They appear to be showing the races live but I haven't tried to actually watch one on there.
  • + 3
Does anyone know what happened to Evie Richards that caused her to retire from the U23 race? I can imagine it is heartbreaking to come into the world champs with the form she has had this season and then not be able to finish the race.
  • + 7
 Way to go Kate!
  • + 7
 Congrats Kate!
  • + 6
This is Kate’s first top level win?
  • + 2
Indeed it is. Likely won't be her last.
  • + 7
 Woowwwww Kate!!
  • + 2
America first! That‘s the way it should be done! Great job, Kate! Bring back the glory from the old days when the birthplace of mountainbiking ruled the worldcup! Julie Furtado, John Tomac, Ned Overand, only to name a few.
  • + 5
Awesome Kate!!! Way to go USA!
  • + 6
 Kate Congrats!
  • + 3
I thought Annika was going to ride away with it after the 3rd lap. Awesome race by Kate. That was great to watch.

Now will there be an upset in the men’s race?
  • + 4
Wish they would post a link to the coverage, Redbull TV makes it so incredibly hard to find
  • + 2
Link is now at the top. Smile Ask, and you shall receive.

 @hazelcbrewster: hazel wassername
  • + 1
Haha no way to find in the app, Google was the only way but I didn't watch the good race for women! thanks RB
  • + 3
So, Jolanda and Luca. They are a couple now. Congratulations! I'd love to see Jolanda on a DH bike. I'm sure she'd be very good.
  • + 1
Probably a hard relationship to hold once the season is over. Talk about long range relationship!
  • + 1
Really? Where did u see that they’re a couple?
  • + 1
 @Rainozeros:

I don't think that is Luca Shaw.
  • + 1
@mtb-journal: thank you! Besides you could see these two together in so many short spy shots of the wc broadcasts - It was quite obvious
  • + 3
Super stoked for Batty with an amazing season! Huge congrats to Kate for pulling off an incredible win.
  • + 3
When was the last time a US woman won the World's XC title? Was it Furtado in the 90s?
  • + 3
Alison Dunlap in 2001 Stupid thumb hit the wrong reply button below... Duh!
  • + 2
@handynzl: That's right! What a great victory that was, just a few days after 9-11.
  • + 2
Congrats on the win. Hopefully Gwin can win Xc and DH but this TBC mofo is riding like a thing possessed.
  • + 2
Even worse in DH; Leigh Donovan (USA) world champion in 1995, that was the last time an american woman won. Glad we can at least find some medals in XC.
  • + 0
Wonder when was the last time a man won?
  • + 3
Rob Warner was wearing a SMOCK. Weird.
  • + 2
That's really a terrible shirt. Maybe if it were the correct size but it's like 4x too large. WTF!
  • + 1
Nino dropping the hammer like clockwork, posting up dropping haters, Scott spark thooo
  • + 1
Man Schurter is awesome and still a beast but I think Van Der Poel is the furture of XC.
  • + 2
VdP will most likely only take XC seriously until the Tokio Olympics. After that he will move to the road, where (unfortunately) is where he can make the most money.
  • + 1
could someone post the procedure for watching in the lock out countries please ?
  • + 4
Burn a sacrificial Panaracer Dart 26x1.95 to appease the mtb gods...?

Can you get UCI you tube channel? They are streaming live. Been watching the relay, jnrs, and u23 on there. Elites are on our Sky TV in NZ... Not sure for Canada but there is a list in the "guide to..." article from earlier this week
  • + 1
I'm now getting the xc? I dunno??? Redbulltv
  • - 1
Don't get your spadex in a bunch, or does that help?
  • + 1
@handynzl: That's one way to send up a Smoke signal.
  • + 2
Install Tunnelbear VPN plug in for Chrome. Click icon on toolbar to turn it on. Select USA as country. Refresh Red Bull website.

That’s what I did for Worlds last year, haven’t tested this year yet but will later today.
  • + 1
Great race! More split times would have been cool. GO Kate!!
  • + 0
That's my cousin CB!!! America fuk yeah! Congrats to Kate too..time for her to get paid.
  • + 2
 Looked like a guru.
  • - 1
is there a alternative to red bull tv for watching these races ? that has to be the absolute worst website on the interwebs , it's pitiful...
  • + 3
Well just cancel your subscription to RedBull TV then, you can use the other site that broadcasts the World Cup and World Champs. OH WAIT......is free to much to pay. Did you watch the World Champs last year from Australia, now that coverage was a shit show.
  • - 1
Whats the point in watching 2 hours races after you know the results?
  • + 1
 Also go Kate!
