This made my Onterrible day an Irie vibes kind of day.

Yeah Anton Cooper! Nice to see him back at the pointy end of a race
  • 19 0
But he didn't slow down and wait for Sam Gaze... What a bastard!
  • 14 0
Those Mercedes drivers think they can park anywhere.

Tough race! Congrats to Cooper and Schurter! I hope to see Marotte winning a WC as well this year, he would deserve it, been on the podium so many times but never on top.

wanted Neff to win so bad , langvad seems unstoppable
  • 9 0
Yes. I thought Neff would get enough of a gap on the last descent. Credit to Langvad for staying close enough to take the sprint. She was always going to win a sprint.
  • 9 0
And kudos to Neff for taking it to Langvad on the climbs. They both had to push the limit on their weaker sections.
  • 3 1
@iamamodel: Exactly, both of them did an excellent damage limitation on their weaker side compared to the other. Awesome race to the very end, Lagvad’s sprint was absolutely brutal and they gave everything. Both of them are my favorites and it was great to see their epic battle. Smile

That awkward moment when you’re actually looking for scribd........

I don't think we have seen enough of Neff's xtr in the lowest gear, could you show it one more time please!?

So Vlad's new Protek seems to work pretty good, no?
  • 5 1
 RO-MANIA FTW !!!

Womens race was good but that mens race was psycho!

Nice to see Denmark well represented despite lack of mountains
  • 1 0
It’s a pretty common sight with Annika Langvad Smile What a race...
  • 2 0
Still only 3 of the top 10 born in the 90's. There's going to be a shift soon....

XCO racing this year has been soooo good. Thanks for the coverage, I finally watched the men's race last night, holy shit balls.
  • 3 2
Anyone know what happened to Gaze? Two DNF's in two weeks seems like a massive coincidence.
  • 1 0
 Believe he crashed
  • 3 0
IIRC he got flat front tire, crashed, and injured wrist.
  • 1 0
Yup, crash while leading on lap one. Was holding his arm / shoulder after.
  • 3 0
I think he cracked under pressure..
  • 2 0
@headshot: too little pressure in the front tyre was the issue, but luckily nothing is cracked haha
  • 1 0
Can someone explain how Schurter and Cooper got identical times but place 1,2
  • 9 0
Sprint finish decided in a photo finish. Usually means they were separated by less than the accuracy of the standard timing clock and a back up had to be used e.g. clock goes to 100th of a second but photo can go to 1000th.
  • 1 0
I thought at first that Cooper had managed to pull it off but basically the end result came down from a better bike throw from Schurter. That was a great race to watch live.
  • 2 1
N1NO won on a sprint but he had to wait for the photofinish to celebrate it!
  • 2 0
Fantastic racing! Definitely worth a watch.
  • 4 7
 Nino by almost a minute!1!
  • 8 0
Nino only won by a few centimetres over Cooper. Not sure whats up with the times on here.
  • 7 0
@abraconn192: Times have been fixed and I take back my above comment. Wish I had been able to watch it live, but will look forward to replay on redbull. Thank you
  • 3 0
 @Doublejj: they meant 1 Inch not 1 minute ;-)
  • 3 0
@abraconn192: I missed seeing this live, can't wait to see the highlights, must have been an epic sprint finish for both Nino and Cooper (and I feel gutted for Cooper).
