except its only Europeans. No North Americans, Australians or New Zealanders. Big advantage for the Europeans as they are the only ones who can acquire UCI points right now.

@jclnv: Good for him, glad he could make it. Still puts most of the non Europeans at a major disadvantage.

@rrsport: Neff made it too. It’s almost like they wanted to race.

@jclnv: Wow Neff made it to Switzerland... traveling all the way from Switzerland. I know she was in the states earlier but traveled back about a month ago. For those who don't have a home in Europe, its even tougher than normal to travel for races.

Was this only for Europeans? If not, big disadvantage to Kate and Emily if they couldn't fly in.

Americans can not enter the EU at the moment (due to COVID-19 debacle in the US) unless they have residency in an EU country So I am guessing that Kate does not have residency in Europe. On the road side of things, World Tour road racing is soon about to get going, and you'll see a bunch of American road racers (i.e. Neilson Powless, Lawson Craddock, lots of the EF Pro Cycling team) over in Europe racing but they have EU residency (i.e. most of them live in Spain, etc.) so they were able to fly back over recently. --signed American ex-Pat currently living in Denmark with a residence card who is bummed that none of his friends or family can visit him this year.
