Neff and Courtney with the exact same lap times is interesting...

And Pauline was only 2 seconds off. Will make for a great womens race! Also comparing times.. looks like Nino went into their final lap about 16 seconds behind USA and had a burner of a lap to finish 16 seconds ahead!

And Pauline Ferrand Prevot only 2.5 seconds off.

It will be exciting to see which one of them gets silver and bronze.

It will be interesting to see if they really go for it here, or if they save something for the battle for the World Cup overall title next weekend.

For Jolanda the rainbow stripes are more important because she can wear them for an entire year (she said that in an interview time ago), and she has won the overall three times already ('14, '15, '18 ). Furthermore, every time she wins in Canada, she then wins the overall too, and she is really superstitious in that sense.

Additionally, the first and second place will secure an automatic place for the Olympic Games next year (38 places available). So it is more than just the World Championship.

Yep took them from 8 to 2nd with that lap. Ya boy!

How about Haley Batten crushing the women's times!

It's very rare getting to see lap times on identical course conditions. The 17/18 year old juniors were running a full minute quicker than the world's best women. Mind boggling put into perspective how quick the young kids are these days.

Disappointing not to be able to get any live action of relay, been attempting to set up working VPN for the live stream for days but to no avail, CBC Gem seem to have their proxy/vpn blocks in place, subscription is mandatory... most of the world are unaware that the mtb World Champs are running, and this protectionist attitude is adding to it... The UCI needs to forget about the quick money and open its gates to the bigger world, surely the promotion of mtb is more important ? Ah well, Redbull tv for the weekend coverage, at least i will be able to understand the commentary.... just... #warnerforukpm

@mtbmaniatv: The simplicity of this, if true, made me chuckle!

@mtbmaniatv: if that was the case, Nino is the double winner for the day.
