Watching her race last weekend was so amazing. Such amazing pedaling, making it look so easy compared to other riders - so relaxed and smooth on the climbs.

That was freakin' hilarious. She acted like she was cramping up too lol.

@toprace: More like she just did a flat out effort and was hurting.

@scissors888: Indeed, really felt bad for her. Class act with a touch of self-deprecating humor about her brain dead moment. From her interview I think she learned an important lesson about paying attention to the big board. I doubt she'll ever make that mistake again.

On the up side both XCC races were great watching.
Good to see JR & PFP continuing to do well and AL is slowly getting back into the swing of things.

With any luck Sunday will be more of the same, only longer!

Prevot is crushing it! I was amazed at her aggressiveness at the front earlier in the season, considering her recovery, but now she is re-asserting herself as the champion that she is. What a race by Jolanda. There's no doubt she went full blast the entire race!

 Jennyyyy!!!!!!!

Rissveds bringing it yet again! No doubt in the running for comeback cyclist of the year.

Congrats Jenny! Super impressed with her performance and her technical skills. Jolanda is so exciting recently with her final lap sprints! Loving every second of the women’s racing this year.

Prevot is definitely doing well, glad to see her back. Neff is so consistent - you have to like her style. Props to Woodruff - but unfortunately, Courtney is starting second row....

Yeah I wonder what is the cause or causes as to why she has dropped off the pace the last few races. I can understand why she fell back last weekend due to the tricky track conditions, but then again today.

@COnovicerider: Courtney clearly struggles at altitude. This is turning out to be her Achilles heel, at least for this season.
  • 4 0
@toprace: She won the World Champ at the same course last year. Perhaps she is struggling at altitude right now but not in general.
  • 7 0
@toprace: I think it's more burn out. She's so young - still learning the pacing it needs to stay top 5 all season...OR she's only eating Cali tacos, sans that secret Euro Hot Sauce Wink
  • 3 0
@motard5: No doubt about it. She's pushed so hard in the first half of the season, she's deep in the hurt locker in the latter half.
  • 3 0
@toprace: also not been home in ages now, so that may be having an affect.
  • 1 0
@toprace: agreed, KC may have peaked too early in the season but at the same time, it's down to her and Neff for the overall. Given KC's injury last year, she doesn't yet have the experience of having to pace herself for a whole season.

Only 10 riders competing from the mens & womens? Where's the rest of the results? Like to know how our fellow Canadians did...

Kate Courtney is off form. She's peaked too early and is going to struggle for a few weeks. Let's hope finds it in time for world champs

@COnovicerider: Yea I copy-n-pasted the lyrics form the J.lo song. I didn't start the fire.

@endlessblockades: Now you're stepping into to Billy Joel territory with the didn't start the fire Smile
