I headed down to Revolution Bike Park in the Autumn sunshine last week and met up with Burgtec boss man, Dave Barton, along with style king Josh Bryceland and the Peak Districts finest exports, Matt and Sam (Dave, Derv or Swervid) Hockenhull. Lucky for us, Revolution had not long opened their brand new track 'Rev It' and the boys couldn't wait to get tyres to dirt. Hit play and let
#TeamBadHairCut entertain.
Best thing to come out of Buxton these two. Seemingly coming out of nowhere and willingly sending big tricks off almost any lip. I think people should continue to expect big things from these lads.
Rat was yelling and screaming most of the way down each run the boys did, grinning ear to ear all the way back up the push up, too. This kind of track is most definitely his jam.
If you don't know who Cody is, well you do now. The Hockenhull Brothers' dog and he's their shadow.. and probably the coolest trail dog I've ever seen. Go follow him on
Instagram, you won't be disappointed.
Matt sends it super sideways straight out of the fastest corner on the track. He may be the older out of the two brothers (gets called Baldy a lot) but he's certainly no slouch.
A pristine track crafted by both hand and machine for three weeks. Not too big that it's scary, but it flows and it works, and is thoroughly enjoyed by Rat and Co. These two are the culprits, James Foster and David Jenkinson. Absolutely phenomenal work.
Dave gets a close-up of.. well the other Dave.
Insane shapes all day.. at the beginning of the day, Dave couldn't superman and had never tried it. Guess what, he can now.
Matt tries to spot his landing but quickly realises he's going to land at the foot of a slate filled wall.
Josh pulled out the fluorescent rainbow bike for this day. Catches the eye a treat, so easy to film. The ginger mullet completes one hell of a look he's got going on.
The 3 and Superman train. On trail bikes, in Wales. Pretty bloody cool.
Endless trains flowing through the Welsh woodlands. Accompanied by the soundtrack of cutties and stoke. You should probably go and ride this track.
The hardware, Cheshire born and bred. Proper good stuff.
