Ride North Wales at the British Downhill Series, Llangollen

Oct 27, 2016
by RideNorthWales
There's been a lot of cycling activity up in North East Wales in recent weeks. The Tour of Britain rolled into Denbigh for stage 4, we celebrated all things cycling at Rhyl's Wild Weekend and Llangollen hosted the final round of the 2016 British Downhill Series. The sun was shining, the hot air balloon festival was in town, and so too were a few hundred DH riders, ready for a great weekend on the hill.

Eastwood Media have been working on some little edits as part of our up and coming website relaunch and we just had to send them over to Llangollen to capture the magic that happens at Tan y Graig Farm!

From the Strider race for the kids to the legend that is Mr. Steve Peat, we had an absolute blast at one of the friendliest and beautifully located downhill venues of them all (not bias at all!). Here is the full edit of the event and a few shots that we think captured a great sport and a great bunch of people. Enjoy!

Good to see Wales (north and south) mountain biking getting some decent coverage recently, we sometimes don't realise how lucky we are to have all these locations at our doorstep's.

Move to Lincolnshire and you'll then realise what your missing ????

 North Wales you chump

Chump is a little strong as I was trying to be a ironic - North Wales is still quite a bit south of South Scotland and then we have a lot more further north than that Smile

Anyway, the core point is great things are indeed the case!
