Riding Some of the Best Trails in the UK - Worth It, S01 EP16 - Video

Sep 14, 2017
by Leo Gamboc

Worth It is a documentary series produced by Leo Gamboc and Jonas Drechsler. From May this year, we have been on the road, traveling and living in our van to find the best and the secret trails in Europe. We started in Italy, traveled through Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, and for the last two weeks we were in the UK.

The UK trails culture is on a different level from what we have visited so far. Their mutual respect, trails politics, determination, and love for trails made them the owners and makers of some of the finest trails in the world. Check out the episode to see how they use their shovels.

There are so many spots in the UK I think we take it far too much for granted! There's also a large number of private trails which are mind blowing! Keep up the awsome videos Leo Salute

Thanks, we were visiting just for 2 weeks. But how good those jumps are to ride it's unreal. - Leo

'Best trails in the UK' had me interested. Didn't see a trail. Saw many dirtjumps though.

I understand. This kind of trails may be called BMX trails because usually, you see BMX riders shred it. BUT, not only the scene in the UK is riding 85% on 24'' dirt jump bikes, but also the lips are so mellow, definitely not built just for BMX. A mtb-er can really enjoy this trails. So, I understand you were expecting enduro trails or freeride trails, but in the end, even just out of respect you can not call this locations "just" dirt jumps. They are so much more.

These are very much trails, not dirt jumps. I see dirt jumps as something put together for a competition for example, whereas 'trails' have been built to perfection over many years.
