Take a look at what ripped down Brown's Island in Richmond Virginia! Riverrock's freeride MTB and BMX contest showed us TRIPLE no-foot-can-can backflips, stylish 360 toboggans and double-flips amid slack-liners, rock-climbers and dock-diving-dogs!
Riders traveled from California, Michigan, and up the East Coast for a roster consisting of X Games athletes to hopeful up-and-comers. Lots of courses lean towards either slope or park these days, but to barrel through trees and off flat drops down a winding path tastefully decorated by big 6 foot lips and 12-foot landings made for a trail no two riders saw the same.
In his final run, the crowd and judges rallied behind Brayden Barrett-Hay, with 5 solid moves of the 6 trick-able features on the course. Luckily for Robbie Armour the Best Trick contest was practically built for him, delivering us banger after banger ultimately taking the win with the decade backflip (not filmed) and a clean double flip (filmed).
