Rob Warner Signs with Pembree Pedals

We have signed Rob Warner as their Global Ambassador. Rob is the original flat pedal riding World Cup winner who has gone on to host the Red Bull TV coverage of mountain bike racing. Rob said of the partnership:
 | Flat pedals are and always have been something very close to my heart, and a fundamental part of my racing career. I’ve seen them and the shoe technology evolve right from the start of downhill racing. So, after a gap of 17 years, recently I met Phil, a chap I previously met at a bike show where he was selling, you guessed it, pedals. Back then we spoke about flat pedals at length and since then Phil has studied flat pedals, it’s like a science to him, he’s perfected them and now nearly two decades later he’s gone into production with PEMBREE and he’s designed the most stunning flat pedals I’ve ever seen. They’re engineered to a thousandth of a mm tolerance, from billet aluminium, and they are made entirely here in England. They’re a different profile to anything I’ve put a foot on before, they’re longer, more supportive, your foot doesn’t need to be bang in the middle to feel right on them. They feel next generation, like an evolution that’s been a long time coming. Something else really important to me is PEMBREE’s pledge to sustainability, I mean I’m as guilty as anyone jumping on planes all over the world, but with having kids I’ve started thinking more and more about the planet, and the dire straits that it’s in, because of us, I’m seeing it with my own eyes in my own lifetime. So that’s something we’ve all got to take care of, so knowing every pair of pedals are 100% carbon balanced is something I genuinely feel good about. I’m learning, and we all need to do that. As for the pedals. they look beautiful, they work incredibly, and they’re flat, what’s not to like? |
