RockyMounts Announces WestSlope Hitch Rack

RockyMounts is now shipping our newly released WestSlope hitch rack, a versatile and wallet friendly rack for two bikes up. The upward sloped design of the frame creates a tiered mounting arrangement between bikes that eliminates handlebar interference (the outside bike sits 4” taller than the inside bikes). With our pending move to Grand Junction, Colorado, we named the rack for their new home on the Western Slope. MSRP for the WestSlope hitch rack is $329.95 USD.

“Whether it’s a couple heading to the park for a casual ride, commuter or weekend warrior, we strive to fit the needs of the entire spectrum looking to transport their ride.” said RockyMounts’ owner Bobby Noyes. “The new WestSlope is the culmination of our team’s efforts to round out our hitch rack line and bring the quality and craftsmanship you’d expect from RockyMounts to a lower starting price point.”

Perhaps the greatest benefit is to dealers and distributors. The box size is 34” x 24” x 5” and it is a 30% smaller footprint compared to other quality platform racks. It assembles easily, takes up less floor/warehouse space and is inexpensive to ship given the compact packaging. It has been engineered for both ease of use by the user and efficiency in the supply chain.

Product Features:

• 2 bike capacity (up to 40lbs each)
• Tiered mounting eliminates handlebar interference, no frame contact
• Fits 20” to 29” wheel sizes and tires up to 3” wide
• Compatible with bicycle wheelbases between 34” and 48”

• Fits both 1.25” and 2” hitches
• Rack weight 36lbs
