Kade and r dog have the best. Some aren’t even whips or the pic was taken too early so why put them in. No disrespect to the ladies but they should have their own section as they are not at the same level of whippage as the men.

Armstrong got a pretty wild whip, lets gets 2018... That can definitely compete
  • 3 2
I may be partial, but Lorraine's whip is incredible- as seen in the last photo.

everything makes sense, except for ryan howard at rotorua 2020 (second photo down). how is that not a 3? if thats a whip, how did he get there and more importantly, how is he getting it back?
  • 3 0
 He didnt
  • 1 4
It almost looks like he's going to land nose heavy but then he's Rdog so he wouldn't do that. It sorta looks like a front flip tailwhip but he's on a DH bike so he couldn't do that either

 Guys stop. It's a 3.
  • 1 0
its just a dipped 3 lol

@bikecycle0rider: exactly, so what’s it doing in a whip off?
  • 6 1
It was a tuff choice but all of Kade Edwards were great. So many of them could have just been do to the timing of the photographer. A lot of them I would not consider whips but scrubs or table tops. I wish we had a Brendan one footer.
  • 7 1
one footed whip? you mean a nac-nac?
  • 1 0
Either Brendog or Rdog were best
  • 4 0
@tobiusmaximum: Eliot's nac was sick as though
  • 4 0
@mikefromdownthestreet: that’s more of a one footed table though. Nac nac is the the lead leg behind the bike.

R dogg les gets... that’s the kind of whip that almost always requires an engine!
  • 4 0
Wow and none of these riders can jump in a straight line? There should be a "straight air" session!

@lehott: agree. No love for the pencil (aka dead sailor, boner, etc.).
  • 4 1
I feel like Tyler McCaul is always underrated in these events (and many other events) and has such style and composure. His 2019 Whistler whip gets my vote

R-Dog is the King of the Whip... Long live the King
  • 3 0
Then Kade and Kaos are Prince and Princess of the Whip. Yes you read that right.
  • 2 2
I'd like to see a video where the current competitors still perform whips, even if on smaller jumps. Or they teach the others who how to do em or do em better. Or a a format where 2 co-ed teams with Whip Off captains coach riders, and then the teams go head to head for team points.

This is why judged sports are a a joke. People have such a skewed sense of judging without a keen eye and rating on flashiness or favoritism. Not the duty of judging properly.

The way Kaos makes them look so effortless is unparalleled. That R-Dog whip from les gets tho....

Scrolling through wondering who has best whip. See's picture of R-dogg. Stops scrolling.
