Royal Racing ukbikepark summer series
After a successful first year of racing, Ukbikepark are bringing you more events in 2008 in conjunction with Royal Racing and Torico Performance BicyclesThe bike park are seeing some major changes this year with more tracks, a new club hut, improved quicker scratch free uplifts and a 4x track. Ukbikepark are delighted to announce that Royal racing are stepping in as series sponsors for the 6 race DH series this year. This means we will have great prizes for each category first second and third place winners. The race weekends will include Saturday uplift, 4x racing on Saturday night and Sunday DH racing . Its like old school racing used to be without the xc ( or the uphill challenge and better tracks)! The usual Bikepark features will be in place so expect to see more mini bike racing, hog roasts, Djs, mini ramps and the now legendary mums cake and ukbikepark vibe. We will also be hosting demo bikes from Ironhorse Lapierre and Commencal. Torico will also be there with all the spares and bits that you could ever need.

Saturday Uplift
Get some extra pre-race practice in (for the Downhill Race Sunday) with this special Saturday Uk Bike Park uplift service. This ticket includes your day pass to ride the park. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and get the best out of the park by sessioning every run using the uplift service. You can expect to get over 10+ runs a day using the uplift, with a bottom to top run time of approx' 10mins. Uplifting starts at 10am and finishes at 4.30pm, the service stops for lunch for 1 hour from 1pm to 2pm. On site refreshments available all day, including locally produced hot food & freshly made 'Mum's cake'.
Uk Bike Park members type in the discount code box 'member' to qualify for your discount on the uplift. Your membership details will be checked on the day.

New for 2008 4x Racing comes to UK BikePark on the purpose built 'Torico' 4x Track. Experience the excitement of racing your friends and other competitors thoughout 300m of Table tops, Step up/downs, Doubles, Triples and Berms on our new track!
Same format as National Points Series. Prizes for all category winners!
Sunday UK BikePark/Torico Dh Race
UKBikePark presents 'Grassroots' Downhill racing at it's best. A really fun series with course challenges for every level of rider down the 140m vertical drop of Okeford Hill Practice Uplift service (Included) starts at 09:30,timed runs at 13:30. Pre booking highly recommended!! (£10 surcharge for on-the-day entry)

Camping
Don't forget camping at the Park is available at all of our races from the Friday night, so it's easy to enter all three events over the weekend. On site facilities include a cafe, countless walks on the varied bridleways and the best views of Dorset! Portaloos are also provided.

Im wearing the red Dmr shirt looking like a goon
To go by train from London Waterloo on a Saturday morning to Sherborne in Dorset (nearest station) would take two hours and 45 mins with changing trains at Woking. To drive from the centre of London would take about 2 and a half hours! (in a fast car!)
Mind you its closer than doing any Midlands, Dragons, or SDA races!
But Maybe try the races at PORC which would be less than an hour away from you.
