Add Sam Hill to the growing list of pro gravity athletes who are giving enduro racing a try. He'll be joining the fray at round one of the Enduro World series aboard a bright green NukeProof Mega, the day after he races his prototype DH bike on the steep and slippery course of the Crankworx Rotorua downhill.
Prototype Nukeproof PulseThere had been rumors that a carbon Nukeproof Pulse was due to make an appearance this season, but the prototypes Sam Hill and teammate Mike Jones were practicing on are full aluminum rigs. The bike appears to share the same link-driven single pivot suspension design as its predecessor, but the tubing is much less industrial looking. Where the current Pulse looks like it was constructed from I-beams meant for a high rise building, this new beast's tubing is much thinner, with a few curves thrown in for good measure. A lighter, sleeker Pulse? Yes, please.

Vital has got a better picture of the frame
on quality, my experience anyways and Im a 5:10 fanboi.
Might wanna check what an I-beam looks like there.....the old pulse sure was Industrial looking though...
Why?
Cos your Chernobyl will fall off.
Or maybe you were joking the joke...
Why shouldn't you wear Russian boxer shorts?
Chernobyl fall-out...
It was a custom Nukeproof Pulse.
I noticed Brosnan was not running codes on his Demo but Gwin is. A friend of mine has the RSC's on his enduro 29 and thinks they dont bite well enough for his tastes (he charges the DH) so with that said it kind of makes me think that Brosnan is testing the ultimates on his demo as well. Gwin is still on codes maybe because they are tried and true. That could be because of his World Champ run in '12 that went to craps due to prototype failure from Shimano. We have not heard any innovation on codes in quite some time and with SRAM going away from the Avid name makes me think that the SRAM Guide Ultimate Brakes are something that is being developed by the top riders. Race season is just getting underway so only time will tell but I would bet we will hear something soon.
@Ralston88 Yep busted: I hate riding bikes and don't care about riding at all.
