The best way to fight winter depression is to go out there and ride your bike. Sam Reynolds shows us how to spend a wicked day ripping his Polygon N9 enduro bike and it’s all about scrubs, roost, hucks, backflips and whips.

But don’t be a fool, Sam hasn’t change his career yet and he won't finish the day without drifting his car or going dirt jumping. He takes you to the S4P bike park in South England that is nearly finished and hopefully soon open to everyone.

Some riders have just got it no matter what bike they ride. Those whips were bloody beautiful.

I read the word "Enduro" and came to watch some gay sex, but I didn't find any.
where is the enduro?

Can someone explain me the difference beetwen all mountain, one crown freeride and enduro bikes? www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUeZMGrLAhY is this enduro edit?Big Grin
  • 25 0
 How it was marketed
  • 5 0
All mountain and Enduro are the same, but freeride(often single crown, for ease of tricking) is far more downhill oriented, more like baby DH bikes...
  • 7 0
What about over mountain riding? I heard that was similar to the enduro but you need a special bike.
  • 4 0
Enduro is a *race format* involving AM/trail riding. I would call 'casual enduro-hucking' freeride Smile
  • 4 0
So can you trail ride enduro or do you have to race enduro? I'm confused...

If you're riding a mountain bike, it's called mountain biking. If you're not racing anyone and you're going fast downhill with jumps, it's probably freeride. If you're racing downhill and riding uphill, it's enduro. If you're not racing downhill or uphill, and the terrain is rough, it's all mountain. If you're riding a Cannondale, it's overmountain. If you're not racing downhill or uphill and the terrain isn't very rough, it's probably trail. If your bike has a single-crown fork and more than six inches of travel and was made before 2008, it's probably a freeride bike. If your bike has a single-crown fork and between five and seven inches of travel and was made after 2010, it's probably either an enduro bike or an all mountain bike, unless it's a Cannondale, in which case it's an overmountain bike. If your bike has between five and seven inches of travel and the Medium size of that bike has a toptube length of between 590 and 605mm, or a head angle of 66.5 degrees or more, it's probably an all mountain bike. If your bike has between five and seven inches of travel and the size Medium has a toptube length of greater than 610mm, or a head angle of less than 66 degrees, it's probably an enduro bike. If your bike has chainstays longer than 440mm and 26 inch wheels, you should feel insecure and buy an Intense Tracer 275. If your bike has 29 inch wheels and a head angle of more than 68 degrees, you should feel inadequate and buy an Orbea Rallon X-Team. If your bike has 650b wheels and the size medium of that bike has a toptube of 605mm or less you should feel insecure and buy a GT Sanction. Simple.

This one time I thought I was enduroing but then my friend told me I was just mountain biking.

I wouldn't be much use, I'd just be parroting back everything @mikelevy and @RichardCunningham said in the last four years. Bars 770mm or wider. Stems 50mm or shorter. Rims 35mm or wider. Sram brakes have good modulation. Ebikes are going to send us back to the stone age. Forks without travel adjust. Forks that ride high in their travel. Long front-centres. Dropper posts as standard. Average on the climbs. Confidence-inspiring on the descents. Specialized Slaughter. Cane Creek Double Barrel. Pike. Oval chainrings are the future. Gorilla tape for tubeless. Be honest with yourself about your riding. One-by drivetrains. I need a new hobby.

jubbylinseed has too much time on his hands....and for that, we thank you.
  • 1 0
@Jubbylinseed if your bike has less than 8" of coil spring travel and not 26" wheels, you should feel insecure and bug one that fits the requirements

I'm too busy fettling my brand-new Pike, lacing 35mm wide 650b rims and bleeding my Reverb Stealth.

they do go under vauxhall, they are available from dealers here, and it seems the S4P boys are accumulating them (see sam pilgrim, sam reynolds)
  • 6 0
It's a Holden Maloo imported from Australia and it's the best!! I bought it from pilgrim after 2 weeks cos he didn't like it as it was 'too mental' and has almost 500bhp haha I love it Australians know how to make cool stuff
