I don't know why people are so upset about the price... I mean, it is too much for me but if 5000us is about 6500cad for the frame, shock and fork, it is not bad actually?! That fork only was like 1800cad, probably more nowadays... so lets say 4500cad for a carbon frame with expensive high-end coil shock!? A carbon frame that usually come with cheaper shock like a fox X2 or whatever, is like 4-5000cad nowadays.... I would prefer to buy this beauty than a Trek, Specialized or whatever!

@Luar949: was looking at an SB150 frameset last fall. Shop was asking $4300. Paid $1k less for a Spire instead

@Armand74: It'll get built up with bling parts and then probably go to a garage and never see the sunlight again. Maybe except for one or two trips to the ice cream parlor each summer.

Beating a dead horse but are prices just being picked out of hat … not just Scor though. Thought the Revel Ranger looked nice until I see £3700 frame only - WTAF

I think most bike brands (won't call them manufacturers since it is outsourced in Asia) just don't want to sell frames only. If you take the new GT Force, frame only is almost as expensive as their entry level bike. It makes more sense to buy entry level bike, sell all the parts you don't want and build it up. As crazy as it sounds it is what the pricing scheme is suggesting to do for most brands.

I am mentally stuck in 2005, when you bought a base yeti for half the price of this frame. I must say I do not understand current prices, brand owners earned filthy amounts of money back then already.

what happened to the times, when Bike frames cost 2 grand? We have to ask the US government to print another gazillion dollars, so we can pay a proper 10k for this....
