For sale, Scott Gambler, unused front tire.

Haha, they should put together an edit, where he is just manual-ling in and out of every shot...

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this story. Had them checked. Doc says they're 20/20.
  • 2 1
@Rageingdh: Ha laughed out loud....into my pizza...wish they were 20" as I did eat two.

I can't even imagine Scott without Nico and Nico without a Gamby. Good luck!

One of the nicest blokes you will ever meet
  • 2 0
I’m dyslexic and I read that as “One of the nicest bikes you’ll ever meet” and died when I realized the mistake lol
  • 8 0
Not able to properly ride anything he build in Chatel, but I really hope he keeps building in the PDS.
  • 4 0
Indeed, the Vink lines are not for the average rider (as I am), I've almost killed myself twice due to the enormous amount of speed you can get on those tracks. However his builds are the best I've ridden (so far). Love to hear what's next with him...
  • 1 0
Cmon those tracks are pure gold, just release your brakes and green and blue vink line pure fun, red one need more experience, however those lines are most fun speedee i ever rode Props to him! Could not imagine fr without Vinc
  • 8 1
Love Vinks style, anyone know who’s bagged him?
  • 14 0
YT, w/ all the other freeriders?
  • 3 2
@Veloscente: strange that they're bagging all the freeriders, being carbon and all
  • 14 0
@Veloscente: Vink is no young talent though, more like established talent: ET maybe?
  • 1 0
@fiatpolski: I would not have considered Lunn and Tippie as young talents neither, but they’ve been signed by YT.
  • 16 0
 Transition
  • 3 0
 @EnduroManiac: Warner ain’t a spring chicken either
  • 1 0
@EnduroManiac: Zink isn’t exactly young either lol
  • 1 0
@EnduroManiac: or Lacondeguy now that I’m thinking of it
  • 1 0
@Hardtailhooligan: Lacondeguy wasn't that old when they signed him.
  • 2 1
@h20-50: You also live in or around Bellingham? That was my guess too, with the work that Vink is doing with Transition building MASSIVE jumps on Galbraith.
  • 1 0
 @marseer: I plead the FIF!
  • 1 0
@vinay: No and to be fair to both of them they’re not really that old in the grand scheme of things. I’m only a year younger than Andreu and a few years behind Zink and I know/hope I’m going to be riding well past those ages. If Zink can have all those injuries my couple bad ones don’t even come on his radar lol
  • 5 0
I saw him almost two weeks ago on Galby. He was riding with Lars. Can’t help but think/hope that it’s Transition
  • 1 0
@fiatpolski: So are Lacondeguy and Zink. Still, they ride for YT.
  • 1 0
@bobbybottleservice: I asked him and you are right he is on transition now
  • 1 0
@cool3: So, Lacondeguy is off YT now. He did probably did put them on the map for the North American scene though. Was the brand known up there from before they signed him (like in the years of Matts Makken Haugen)?
  • 8 1
Could see him on a Furious Y'know......
  • 4 0
pretty sure the next brand will be a one where you can run 26inch!
such as trek (again) with the custom session or YT with there custom seat stay!
  • 1 0
Banshee? BTR probably can't afford him, but it would be cool seeing him on the Pinner.
  • 2 0
what is scott sports thinking ? he is one of the nicest most respected riders out there .. this is marketing gold. they just dont get it. makes me mad. spending 4 million on 2 road bike teams and not have a tiny budget for Nico! ??
  • 5 0
Dear Scott-Sports: Bring him back please. The gambler and him are like peanut butter and jelly Smile
  • 1 0
I was just getting used to the new raw frames with the rocker. Starting to like it too :'(
  • 5 0
 legend!
  • 4 0
Big Fans of Nico whatever he is doing. Usually going massive
  • 3 0
this news sucks, sucks even more if he goes young tallent where he`s most likely been recruited
  • 4 0
 That is a proper farewell!
  • 3 0
I wonder how many frames he has destroyed over the years. Or is it to be called "how much frames"?
  • 7 0
not that much! old gamblers were unkillable!
  • 4 1
Vink to a company that's putting out a revised DH bike.....new designed Knolly Podium
  • 2 1
Nico going to Knolly would be such a nice move, watching him riding with Doerfling on a Podium could be so rad ! Unfortunately It's very unlikely ...
  • 1 1
 @Groscreux: I agree.Wishful thinking.
  • 4 0
 $5 says he’ll be on a Transition.
  • 5 0
I think you'd be $5 richer. I hope they have plenty of spare frames! haha.
  • 5 1
Buddy of mine spotted him at the transition HQ
  • 2 0
He's building a new jump line for them on Galbraith (his name is on the temporary trail signage) ... maybe for a new sponsorship edit???
  • 1 0
I too spotted him on Galby with Lars....
  • 2 0
I remember some saying that the Gambler was over built..........................HAHAHAHA nope it was just built for Nico!
  • 2 0
Vink always has the best soundtracks for his edits. Wherever he goes I hope he is still making videos.
  • 3 0
One of the greatest and most understated.
  • 3 0
One of the best riders out there!
  • 3 0
Well that was unexpected! I wonder where he will end up at? YT?
  • 2 1
If that's the case, most of the riders at Fest series will be on YT. Will Fest become the YT Invitationnal?
  • 2 0
@smartfartbart: Hope it doesn't become that haha. Commencals newish DH bike looks rad for it.
  • 1 0
@T4THH: you can’t say that about YT. I’m furious.
  • 1 0
@tobiusmaximum: That took me a minute
  • 1 0
@T4THH: not my finest hour, i admit.
  • 3 0
I heard a rumor he will be riding for Kris Holm unicycles.
  • 3 0
But why is he leaving ? Shed some light on me please
  • 1 0
To be honest, as long as he still puts out nuts edit's I'll be happy what ever he's riding. Oh he must be wearing high top VANS tho.
  • 3 0
