Southern California based saddle innovators, SDG COMPONENTS, announces the launch of their newly designed website. The site will assist consumers with in-depth product features and new technical elements, while showcasing their extensive 2014 product collection – highlighting the long awaited Bel-Air 2.0’s, Circuit Mtn’s, limited Fusion Gold Series and more. With the ever emerging digital landscape and the desire to provide more detailed product oriented content, the development and launch of the new site has been the company’s primary objective over the past few months.

Since the acquisition of SDG in 2009, our dedicated team has been full throttle, enhancing all facets of the brand and ultimately our product portfolio. Internally, we’ve made huge strives refining our lineup, yet we never fully executed in communicating the technical aspects to our consumer base. So today, I’m excited with the launch of this platform, as it will enable us to take a more educational approach going forward – focusing on features and the benefits, aiding consumers to their ideal saddle selection, based on individual needs and personal riding preferences. Clearly more so than just colors, said SDG COMPONENTS President, Tyler Anspach.

The new site takes a comprehensive look into the technical elements and enhanced product details, allowing consumers to fully understand SDG products and the true reasoning behind the development. In-depth descriptions of the products include: new segmented family categories, multiple high-resolution images, technical highlights, specifications, and individual product videos.

It follows a clean, modern design and was developed for easy navigation that allows the user to quickly seek and obtain the information desired. Consumers can view products in the three main categories: MTB, CX, and Road. They may follow an assisted discipline navigation or target specific models directly. Technical elements featured within each saddle model showcase SDG’s new “From The Bottom Up” approach philosophy, which the company aims to further expand upon into 2015 and beyond. In addition, the user may also target saddles that fall under the classification of the elements and filter products according to those features.

The site has an adaptable design that allows users to have an optimal viewing experience across multiple digital devices and desktop screens.

SDG products are distributed through QBP and BTI in the United States and through a network of 30+ international partners, catering to finer retailers worldwide. For more detailed product information, please visit: www.sdgcomponents.com.

Inspired in the early ‘90s by the Huntington Beach, Calif., action sports scene and the speed defies gravity mantra, SDG COMPONENTS has emerged as a leader in the global bicycle saddle market. From its inception, the Company had sought to shatter stereotypes by creating the industry’s first Kevlar saddle covers. More recently, the Company completely revolutionized the seat-to-post connection with the coveted I-Beam Technology. The Company isn’t resting on its time-tested, race-proven heritage, and today, with new ownership and laser-beam, bike-only focus, SDG COMPONENTS continues to keep the industry on high-alert, with new concepts launching into the marketplace every year.
