Where does your money go?
The map below shows Share the Ride foundation's work over the last couple years, with your help we can get to even more locations and help get more kids on bikes.

How it works
-For every $5 donated between Nov 3rd, 2015 and Midnight PST of December 24th, you will earn one chance to win the Giant Trance SX or Liv Intrigue SX bike and other listed prizes. So if you donate $25 that is 5 chances at a bunch of prizes.
-The winners will be selected from a spreadsheet using random selection.
-The winners will be notified by e-mail and asked a mountain bike related knowledge question.
-We will ship worldwide ... Customs fees and other applicable taxes will be the winner's responsibilities.
- $150 is enough to buy one child a new bike and a helmet.
- We are working with community centers, schools, youth and family service programs and other established charities and foundations to identify children from low income families who will benefit from this gift.
- We are world wide.
- We aim to ensure that the children receiving these gifts are educated on basic bicycle safety and maintenance.

We appreciate every dollar that comes our way and we make sure it gets put to good use. So thanks for your donation and for giving disadvantaged children the chance to be a part of something wonderful.

We spend so much time drooling over the latest and greatest, and dropping copious amounts of money to "fine tune" our trail experience, so a $5 donation shouldn't feel like a stretch. A little bit from a lot of people can be a huge gift.

I bought my boy a Spesh Riprock today for Christmas to replace his beat up Hotrock. He is lucky (i hope) Not everyone is so I chipped in. If it helps any brits, its in Canadian. I did $10 and it was £4.99....ie bugger all.

Call it growing up but today I realized that for less than the cost of the new back tire I need I was able to get a kid a new bike instead. That's pretty fucking cool. Thanks pinkbike for making this happen.

Bikes changed my life - imagine how it could change the life of a child who is far less fortunate! Donated!

Just some food for thought here. If the manufacturers donating these prizes just donated their retail value, the fundraising target of $40,000 would be reached far quicker. Then all you'd have to do is appeal to people's basic nature of helping others rather than effectively entering into a raffle. This would be counter productive for the manufacturers, as they'd lose out on the publicity they're getting from this, but beneficial from the charitable perspective. Not proposing this as perfect, just a consideration.
