We visited Cracow, Poland last year and with the help of M Bike, Dartmoor and Jaws we gave a group of orphans brand new bikes for Christmas.

Well, we are one week into fundraising and we are already 43% of the way to our goal, incredible! Thanks to everyone who has donated, you will be in the running to win some great prizes, as well as make a bunch of children's lives brighter this Christmas. We have some exciting venues lined up to distribute bikes in this year, we can't wait to see all of the happy faces!

If you are thinking of donating, here's what you could win:

Giant Reign 27.5 1
Grand Prize: A Giant Reign 1 27.5

Valued at $5,299 CAD the Giant Reign 1 27.5 shines when the trail gets rough. It’s strong enough to tame aggressive terrain and efficient enough to conquer climbs with ease. How it works
-For every $5 donated between Nov 4th, 2014 and Midnight of December 12th, you will earn one chance to win the Giant Reign 1 27.5 bike and other listed prizes. So if you donate $25 that is 5 chances at a bunch of prizes.
-The winners will be selected from a spreadsheet using random selection.
-The winners will be notified by e-mail and asked a mountain bike related knowledge question.
-We will ship worldwide ... Customs fees and other applicable taxes will be the winner's responsibilities.

Where will your money go?
- $150 is enough to buy one child a new bike and a helmet.
- We are working with community centers, schools, youth and family service programs and other established charities and foundations to identify children from low income families who will benefit from this gift.
- We are world wide.
- We aim to ensure that the children receiving these gifts are educated on basic bicycle safety and maintenance.

"The winners will be notified by e-mail and asked a mountain bike related knowledge question" Santa Cunningham is going to ask you: Congratulations! You almost won, the only thing you need to do is to give me a correct answer for the question: what is faster flats or clipless?

I remember the completely pure thrill of learning to ride a bike, and then subsequently finding any and every little bump or curb to jump off of. That was a good feeling, and a feeling that I would love to enable a kid to experience as well.

I'll be hitting up a secret location in inner city London, UK with a van full of swag to some very grateful kids with the UKs slice of the funds. So please dig deep all my UK brothers and sisters.

Donated last week because I thought it was a really cool cause and a great way to help children in need. Well last night I got a call from my 9 yr old nephew, whom I purchased a mountain bike for last Christmas, and he was super bummed that he didn't get up to Park City for one more ride with me before the snow settled in. He was on the borderline of having a breakdown when I explained to him that there are kids in the world that not only don't get the chance to go on a trail ride, but that may not ever ride a bike in their lifetime. There was still a sadness in his tone, but it was no longer a selfish sadness. I explained the basics this fundraiser to him and he asked if instead of me giving him a Christmas present, I donate the money that I would have spent. I am extra grateful for the opportunities that I have to share mountain biking with him and simply glowing in the fact that he wants other people to have the joy of a bicycle too. Merry Christmas
