2015 marks the 10th birthday for the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival - ShAFF - and this year's programme is bigger than ever, with over 115 films making it into the festival.

Each year, ShAFF's list of film gets ever-more spectacular, and this year ups the ante yet again, with specially curated sessions for cyclists, climbers, runners, women in adventure films and travel and adventure. There are also multi-sport sessions, lectures from high-profile athletes and sessions for the younger members of the audience, which are often as good if not better than the mainstream films. The full 3-day programme can be viewed here:

For us bikers, the films featured in this year's festival include:

• Huayhuash (ft. Joey Schusler and Thomas Woodson)

• Forgotten Dirt (ft. Matt Hunter)
• Epecuen (ft. Danny MacAskill)

Danny MacAskill will also be doing a free Q&A and signing as part of a special 'A Life Through Moving Image' film session from 15.00 to 17.00 Sunday 22 March at Cityscape Cinema's big screen at the amphitheatre above Sheffield train station.

ShAFF Festival Director Matt Heason said: "It’s been a dream of mine to get Danny to come to Sheffield Adventure Film Festival for more than 5 years. For the past two years, we've had the privilege to host amazing athletes like parkour athlete Ryan Doyle and record-breaking big wave surfer Andrew Cotton. To be able to put on a free event in such an stunning public venue with one of the biggest names in the outdoor and adventure sports industry and the support of Red Bull is a privilege."

So to quote Sir Ranulph Fiennes... "Unless you are on top of Everest, there are few better places to be on a March weekend."
