@piemanQS, for me long socks looks stupid, and the longer they are, the stupider they looks, but it's matter of taste obviously. I've seen opinions like "if you love your ankles, wear long socks", so it seems some people think that socks do offer some ankle protection.
It's indeed unbelieavable that this is a sick Silvia video and we are talking about socks.

Not to put a downer on the work of people whose other productions have been outstanding but, I wish people would stop using soo much steady cam you can get perfectly good shots with cable cams, boons, tripods ect little over kill for me

I was not impressed with the stability… Don't get me wrong, some shots were spectacular. Especially the cable cam. I just would have expected better from Silvia.
