The Sweet Spot - it can be a lot of things. For example, the amazing places that this bike will take you, or the well-balanced design that makes for efficient climbing and confident descending on rides short and long. It is not a 6” trail bike that flies down hills but drags going up, nor is it an XC race rig that climbs like a breeze but lacks stability on descents. The Sklar Sweet Spot came to be through designing, building and riding hundreds of different mountain bikes over the past decade. In that time, we have refined geometry and materials to create a mountain bike that truly does it all. It’s called the Sweet Spot.

Made in the USA from the finest 4130 tubing available, each Sweet Spot is built to order with a 3 month approximate lead time, less than a quarter of Sklar’s normal custom frame lead time.

Frame only ($2850)

“Alloy Build” featuring SRAM GX, wheels from Industry Nine and a rockshox Pike ($7,430)

2800 bucks for a frame? Gtfoh with that nonsense. It's a steel frame.

$11k for a hardtail? WTF man. $11k for a carbon full suspension is high. For a hard tail... Jesus.

I'd rather go to someone like Sycip and get a custom built frame for less. This is one of those cases where you have two t-shirts. Both printed on the same blank. One sells for $18. The other sells for $85. People will buy that $85 shirt because they saw a picture with Bieber wearing it. In reality... same damned shirt.

Things gorgeous. But goodlordman.

Sklar Sweet Spot: for the dentists who like feeling it in their "sweet spot" on the climbs.

My taint hurts just looking at that thing.

Needs a $15,000 titanium GX build and $20,000 titanium X01 'carbon' build

Plain-jane 4130 is what Surly uses. And at least their top tubes aren't bowed upwards in a genital smashing configuration.

This frame would suck for $800!!!!!
