Winter is too long for Kilian Bron after another snow invasion. Follow the Sunn rider straight into La Clusaz – French ski resort, surrounded by peaceful skiers! A perfect run that ends in the fresh powder, still on the bike of course.

We all complain about that guy rollerblading the north shore. Can you imagine the ski forums blowing up about this.

 FUCK THOSE GEEZERS

what ski forums. I thought those died out in the mid 2000's

true but the difference is he's shredding the crap out of them slopes ( in comparison to those skiers around him) imagine if theat rollerbooter was cutting up the North shore and making all the riders look bad haha!

 Legit snow edit

Why do so many hate on snow bikes? Local shop owner just took me up and down a 6 mile section of the Rim trail here in Tahoe. It was epic we were riding on top of 10' of accumulation, and did not need to shovel it. It's just another way to keep on riding when you live in deep snow. I enjoyed this edit because it was good riding, but it should have been called Shovel Required.

Because so many people misuse them because they "look cool," and ride them as their everyday bike. I'm all for using them such as you do.

Depends on what you mean by "snow bikes". I use my standard 2.5" knobbies in the snow and it works great. Year round fun. :-)

Have you ever ridden a fat bike? How much snow do you ride on? Can you turn or do you just fish tail down the groomer in a straight line like the video? I don't own a fat bike. But after my experience I am sold on them. I went up stuff that their is no way a 2.5" tire could go up. And down stuff I am sure a 2.5" could handle. But not at the speed and fun factor that a fat bike allows. It is cool your riding your bike in the snow. And sounds like you are having fun. Fun is the end product we are all after. Fat bikes just another way to have fun on a bike.

I hate UK weather. So drab and just everyday shit.

studded tires, half out of control down an active ski run on 30lbs of metal or carbon. Fun? Sure. Entertaining? Yup
Could you imagine the carnage if this was the norm?
  • 2 0
I couldn't imagine trying to use brakes to stop on a steep ski run. Wait... brakes, what are those? And what is this stopping you speak of?
  • 1 0
it doesnt really look like those tires are studded

Dude, you need to ride more in the snow yourself. It's better than mud for sure! Big Grin

No doubt a bit of tyre girth helps with flotation in soft stuff, but having seen the pro's do the megavalanche and hitting 60+ MPH on snow I will never be convinced about fatties
  • 4 0
Well, that was all pure downhill and most of it was packed. I wonder how fast he would been in conditions like this with his enduro... youtu.be/-usZQhBlKyM

I'm literally exhausted just from watching that clip Razz
  • 7 2
Is it just me or do the skiers and the snowboarders look really pissed off at the idea that Kilian is shredding La Clusaz slopes on his enduro bike?? lol
  • 5 5
I wonder how much it will suck riding a bike in deep powder. Help, I'm stuck and can't get out of this powder.
  • 6 3
They shoveled the trail so he could ride it... Ripping and looks fun, but he left some trenches on the slopes for sure. A fat DH bike would be better,

 tonight I ride!

first snow edit I really enjoy

 Looks like Fun!

 That was rad!

pretty much throws all that marketing bs saying that you need phat bikes to ride in the snow right out the door.
  • 18 7
Does it? Did you see him go uphill with his regular bike? And he's on hard packed snow all the time except the few cm on top of it.
If you don't believe me, try it...
  • 30 6
Yes, you don't need a fat bike for snow, regular bike is good enough - just like you don't need rear suspension to ride Downhill or a thumb to masturbate...
  • 11 0
 Wait, the thumb is involved?!

I like the ruts he's creating. Nice

I don't think he is worried about how good his bike will climb up the hill with that nice enclosed gondola taking him up. Its called downhill for a reason.
  • 5 1
for proper snow you don't need a fat bike you need skis...
  • 5 6
Snowboard or nothin'! There in your face skier!
  • 2 1
Snowboard for life. Also without a fat bike most of us would eat major turd trying to do what he is doing here.
  • 6 4
 Friends don't let friends fatbike.

 Nullify the fat bike crusade.

Also, doesn't anybody dream about powder staches and dropping pillow lines anymore?
  • 1 1
I'm sorry, but this makes fat bikes look like an even more ridiculous proposition. I think i'll be hitting the trails with a Segway before I ride a fat bike.
  • 2 2
phat riding as usual from mr bron and phat instrumental! wu tang flava...what is the track?
