Snow Summit's Crafts and Cranks on Tap For this Weekend

Jul 7, 2016
by Snow Summit
$30K in prize money will be on the line this Saturday, July 9 as Snow Summit is set to tap into a barrel of racing and beer. Back and much bigger in its second year, Crafts and Cranks celebrates that most perfect union of mountain biking and post-ride beverage. This year, over 40 breweries will be on-site and pouring their creations.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves, a full docket of races will set the stage and it should be a pretty awesome stage, with live music going all day, and plenty to keep the kiddos entertained.

Tickets are $25 for adults and come with 20 drink tickets (tasting size pours). Tickets for attendees age 20-5 are $20 and admission for kids 5 and under is free. Gates open at noon!

Now that the green trail is done, maybe they'll put a little effort towards maintaining party wave and westridge. Jumps are good and dialed, but everything else was in the worst condition I've seen in 3 years.

Sure would be nice for them to rebuild the the dirt jump area and pump track instead a jumping gym and rock climbing wall!!! Say it with me S.S...........BIKE PARK!

Forest service wont let them put the dj area and pump track back without an ecological impact study done... bet if they wanted to put a parking lot where the pump track was there wouldn't be an issue.

@monstertiki: I like how they had no problem mowing down a bunch of trees in the second parking lot

@instantkarma: yeah dude I was bummed and pissed at the same time when I saw that on opening day.

@instantkarma: Such a good point! I think we have to accept that we (DHers) aren't as profitable as skiers and just keep pushing and pushing until they improve the park for us. It kind of blows my mind because I've seen parks with much smaller numbers offer much better trails.
