Irony: Minnar losing time due to high seat position because seat-tube had to be long enough to list all of his World Champs medals.
  • 51 0
I too have a list on my seat stay of all the medals I have won…
  • 41 1
That's why I don't even need a seat-tube. My saddle is just above the bottombracket.
  • 2 1
any of the 3 could be comment gold IMO, @mikelevy
  • 3 1
At Greg's age he needs that list or we will forget!
  • 1 0
Apparently, there's still room for one more! Congrats, Greg!

The fish-eye doesn't make the RC-shoes look good. More a weird kids size shoe.
  • 30 0
Agreed. They look like orthopedic or geriatric shoes.
  • 11 0
Maybe she wears a weird kid size shoe
  • 5 0
 Thought she had gotten clogs
  • 2 0
They do look like they’re tiny kid sized.
  • 81 0
"I stand corrected" said the rider in the orthopaedic shoes.
  • 4 5
@razor: this underrated comment is underrated
  • 1 0
@Ward24 just as well it isn't fish-eye then.
  • 3 0
 They look like heelies.
  • 2 0
 @razor: Aha!
  • 2 0
 @hambobet: Back of the net!

Lauryne’s pants look like they have some built in lucha libre tighty whiteys.
  • 8 0
 "recreation clothes"
  • 3 0
The position of the gloves makes it look a little wrong too.....
  • 2 0
I had Sprint shorts in 2004 that looked like that, but with the baggy style in those days, it looked like a diaper. Those didn't last long.
  • 1 2
Lads there was no need to try and make that weird jesus
  • 35 1
Intense really giving their team the full world champs treatment
  • 25 8
Ya cause they can’t give them a good bike ....haha
  • 7 5
@mxmtb: maybe it’s the riders, and not the bike?
  • 7 0
 it's getting embarrassing
  • 8 0
Ya, the several ti bolts were a nice touch.
  • 11 0
Back in the mid to late 90's everyone was on a Intense M1. It was THE bike to have. Other brands actually used their frames and re-badged them with their own logos. Modern day Intense should consider doing the same.
  • 1 2
 Painting is so useless
  • 1 0
"Look Neko we will let you ride a good bike ok but just for the weekend"
  • 1 0
Intense in its current form quite frankly sucks, which I say with all due respect to one of the goat bike companies.
  • 1 0
is it the frame or the wank tires?
  • 4 0
Sadly Intense hasn't made a good bike since the m16.. every rider who has left intense since is getting much better results, the m29 and this new proto are just not good and the sizing is all weird on em, 471 on a xl frame.. gwin just looks so strange on it doesnt look like his attacking at all.I find it very interesting that neko would go back to a m29 after all the ""development on the new bike""
Something has to change

Always expecting Amaury w/ cornrows from now on
  • 3 0
I want to see a blunt in his mouth on the podium
  • 13 0
Kind of disappointed Amaury didn't go for a Rasta themed paint job, maybe next year.

  • 3 0
University of North Carolia at Asheville. Must've trained at Pisgah during their GED studies

 Neff's OTB just looks painful
  • 20 0
For the rock. Jolanda is an 11 on the Mohs scale.
  • 1 0
 She needs better geo.
  • 16 1
@bitterbiker: Her geometry is just about perfect.
Only thing I would change would be her bike's geometry.
  • 2 0
 @nozes: I second this sentiment
  • 1 0
at least she got it out of the way early. better now than on race day....
  • 2 0
@nozes: oh boy you walked the tightrope with that one! upvotes says you made it safely across though. Bravo.
  • 8 0
I like the ninja turtle outfit !
  • 8 1
When your headset sponsors gives you a better customfinish part then your factory frame sponsor...

There doesn’t seem to be much difference between Lauryne Chappaz’s race kit and a banned skin suit.
  • 1 0
its an IG style thing. tight and pull up as far as they can go
  • 2 0
 Her kit looks good!
  • 2 0
@grizwald: never said it didn’t, I just still find it strange that a sport dedicated to speed bans skin suits, yet still allows most of its riders to wear ‘baggy’ clothing that is pretty much skin tight anyway.
  • 1 0
@CustardCountry: What is the reasoning behind the skin suit ban? I don’t see to many people wearing gangsta baggies, like the Sam Hill wipe out days. It seems like an odd rule.
  • 2 0
@grizwald: people thought it looked silly and wanted to be taken seriously as a sport. Even though almost every other sport that races against the clock uses them, and the few people who’ve done proper testing (Trek wind tunnel, Chris’s Porter/Mojo proved the time advantages).
But people thought they looked silly

Amaury with no 200 spoke daytons?
  • 3 0
Maybe a gold chain but its in shadow
  • 1 0
Seems like the trend is toward cool custom bikes/kit but away from national colours, anyone know why that is? Lots of stunning rides throughout but only a handful that look like ‘world’s bikes’, the rest feel a bit more like what we’d typically see at Sea Otter… no?

New specialized cannibal tire on Grice's demo!
  • 2 0
 Any info on them?
  • 4 0
@makripper: its the preferred tire of Hannibal Lecter
  • 2 0
@jackalope: missed opportunity. Should make a cannibal for a front and corpse for the rear
  • 1 0
what does 00' mean? It is intended to be an apostrophe indicating missing numbers, right? I want to let this go or understand that it's some sort of European acceptable use thing.
  • 2 0
 Oisin O'Callaghan
  • 3 0
YT with full on hype vids for new paint jobs? Those things better look f*cking amazing.
  • 1 0
Am I the only one who doesn't understand how Commencal can have Ballanche as current world champion, and fighting for the overall this year, as well as world champ tittle, and not be able to bring her the new supreme ??
  • 1 0
Might be to do with the contracts clauses each team has. I assume Muc-Off and 21 teams have a clause regarding bike development support, not Dorval.
  • 2 0
 Maybe she doesn't want it?
  • 3 1
I'm not sure if the rapper album cover stance and gang signs is really something amaury and the team should be posting. Or have I turned into a snowflake?
  • 2 1
Yeah not the choice id have made either after recent events...
  • 3 0
It seems that Amaury Pierron and Nina Hoffman are back to the business. Excellent!
  • 2 3
This is pretty pedantic, but it bugs me that this is race referred to as “World Championships” and not with a “the” preceding it. It’s weird English.

Like, “I’m going to world champs” vs. “I’m going to the world championship”.
  • 7 0
Does it also bug you that its not only for America? You guys seem to have a lot of world championships over there in your national sports man
  • 10 0
@dkendy1: sounds like you're calling into question our dominance in hot dog eating. We can out obesity anybody bruh...
  • 3 0
@dkendy1: It’s easy. Invent a sport, you get to call it a world championship.
  • 1 0
@jackalope: were are a close second lol
  • 3 0
Jolanda's bike is the clear winner here...
  • 1 0
Looks like it might help her on the high line...
  • 1 0
 yep, that bike is golden
  • 2 0
Lots of Penny Farthings. All they now need is a suit, dickie bow and a bowler hat to ride them to finish the look.
  • 1 0
I've come to love your mullet bashing comments lol.
  • 3 0
 Fuck those instagram links...
  • 2 1
We need an article going over the nico vouilloz bikes! They were from the future.

I'd gladly give that v10 a second glance rolling down the street while I'm eating lunch in a construction outfit
