![]() | For me, the fence hop into the grass bank was the most intimidating move. As I said in the video, 'Usually when you hit a six foot lip, you're landing on an eight foot landing.' In this case, the fence was 12 feet tall and the total gap from jump to grass hill was about 25 feet, which was pretty hard to judge. Luckily it went smooth the three times I hit it. - Brett Rheeder |
![]() | It's always an honour to work with such great athletes like Brett. He constantly blew my mind over the entire week we shot this; I honestly still can't comprehend some of his ideas on a bike. It really inspires me to see someone with so much drive and skill to make their vision a reality. - Matty Miles |

I loved the flip off the guard rail. The rest was just ramp jumping. The same thing he does on a slope or DJ course. Great riding, but jumping over a pick-up truck is no more interesting or unique than jumping on a barge. It's just jumping. Great stuff, but great as any jumping is great. I'd rather see real street riding on the street & I know Brett could truly do some real magic if he wanted to. There was a time that Rheeder wanted to be known as a solid all-around rider. If that's still true, ditch the ramps & do it the right way.
That bike is just mean lookin'. It's a f*cking Trek & it's as mean as any I've ever seen!!!
I don't know how I'd classify it.

I thought both edits were shit. Dragging portable ramps around just to do some walls & shit. I'll take D-Mac on his worst day over any of that garbage.
