Indoor training just got a lot more fun with the release of Spintertainment, the world's first quality Mountain Bike spin videos! Designed to emulate the experience of riding on some of the best trails in the world from start to finish and getting a great workout along the way. The dynamics of mountain biking make this an especially motivating and entertaining way to make an hour of hard work go by.
Husband and wife Eric and Sara Landis started filming mountain bike trails four years ago to make training in the off-season less miserable. Over that time, they developed several unique features. The easy to follow on-screen display lets you know what is coming up next so you are always mentally prepared.

They offer several engineered workout options such as POWER, TRAIL and CROSS COUNTRY but their "AUTHENTIC" version is truly unique. It exactly matches what it feels like to ride the actual trail. The workout is fast paced and as random as the trail itself!
Also the fully custom "Cadence Matched" music soundtrack allows you stay on the RPM pace even when you don't have pedal speed feedback. Pedaling to the beat is not only fun, but helps you dig deep into the red zone by not slowing when you get tired. Professional riders star in their videos. These videos are fun to watch and the riders are all impressive and may even give you some new goals, especially after watching two women ride the entire Horsethief Bench drop in!
A full line of videos releasing through the first months of 2017!
For the first 45 minutes of the video you stand to the side of the bike and walk in place. Then, in the last 5 minutes you take 5 pedal strokes and coast the rest of the time.
What if you were able to play a game where your trainer was connect to a kinect from xbox or something like that and you were trying to hang with other racers including circuit pros. You would choose your pro rider, choose their level (ex. Nino 25%) and then see if you could keep up. Doesn't beat going outside, but it would be a lot of fun.
We had just finished a day riding and mostly walking the entrance into Steve's trail. We kept trying to ride it without success and got to witness other riders try every line possible, no one could ride it. Hot and sweaty we found a local Health club in Grand Junction with a great shower. We noticed that there was a spin class about to happen and thought why not get more for our visitors fee.
We totally lucked into a spin class with Eric, and Sara, and it was like no other. These people are real riders and the videos are the real trails that people dream of riding. Eric also showed a video of Sara cleaning the entrance to Steve's, which was enough to have us go back and try it the next day. We again saw rider after rider bail out including me, I now know the only way I will ever clean this section is following Sara on the video.
Spintertainment isn't a large corporation trying to hype a product, it is a couple of cyclist trying to share their passion with other winter challenged riders. The Fat bike and studded tires get really old and cold after months in the snow. We start to dream about riding in the desert and thanks to Eric and Sara, and turning the thermostat up to 80+ we can actually get close to it.
Cyclops makes them. And that looks like a Kinetic trainer that gentleman was using. Now a lots of road bikes are the old mtb standard 15x100 and 12x142.
We produce trainer axles compatible with your 12x142 and your BOOST bike. We focus on fitting your unique bike. Our axles are suitable for use on or off the trainer. Easily installed with a standard 5mm hex.
"Cadence Matched" music = One reason why indoor spin at a gym is one of the worst inventions EVAR. Listening to your own tunes is worlds better even if the cadence is off.
That said, this seems a good format to get the horrible indoor training time in. I'll give it a try.
FYI, you're not the 1st to try something like this, but I wish you best of luck.
I think the term you are looking for is press release. No different then Trek talking about their newest bike. Spin training isn't for everyone, but is extremely useful if you want to increase strength and power of the winter.
